The Gayatri Mantra, the oldest known mantra in existence, has also been the subject of modern research by Dr. Pandya of Harvard University. In this beautiful recording, the spoken mantra is interwoven with the unforgettable music and vocals of Peter Keogh and well-known Quebec musician and composer Serge Fiori, formerly lead singer in the ‘70s group Harmonium, combined with the beautiful voice of Majoly.

In addition, renowned Sanskrit scholar Ghanshyam Singh Birla presents a detailed spoken-audio narration of the significance of these mantras. For those who would like to chant the mantra themselves, Dr. Birla carefully explains the pronunciation and meaning of each word and phrase.
