Editorial Reviews
From the Artist
Although we have enjoyed success in the world of classical music as performers, recording artists and teachers, what we treasure most is being mothers. This recording is near to our hearts and springs from our love for our families.

Product Description
Lullaby, The Journey Begins (AE) is a collection of sung poetry which contains 12 original musical compositions. This music will touch a deep emotional chord within all those who care for children.
American Poet Eugene Fields' Wynken, Blynken, is set to an original tune. These songs will enrich children through their stages of development, from young infants who will sleep to the relaxing melodies to the toddler who sings the lyrics and appreciates Field's fantastic images. Older children and parents will appreciate the images and the wonderful feelings the music evokes.
The Spanish song A La Puerta Del Cielo is featured, describing blessings falling from above on sleeping children and on the parents and all those who love them. There is the Yiddish lullaby Raisins and Almonds that reflects a mother's hope that her child will have a good life.
And there is a song written for adoptive parents, that all parents can relate to it as it says: I hope your dreams will all come true, the way mine did when I saw you.

Album Description
Lullaby, The Journey Begins is a collection of sung poetry containing 17 original musical compositions and arrangements. The music will touch a deep emotional chord in children and all those who care for them."The Journey Begins" is a song written for adoptive parents, that all parents can relate to it as it says: I hope your dreams will all come true, the way mine did when I saw you.
This collection enriches children throughout their stages of development: young infants drift off to relaxing melodies, and toddlers are absorbed by vocabulary-enriching words. Tired parents are soothed: the words reminding them of the joy of parenting while the music renews their spirit.
Wynken, Blynken, and Nod, an American favorite by poet Eugene Field, sails off in a new dreamlike setting. A whimsical cowboy theme launches his Fly-Away Horse into the night skies, and a gingerbread dog and chocolate cat cavort in the branches of the Sugar-Plum Tree.
This CD will be thoroughly enjoyed and played often.
