d very calming. My grandson, age 6, also loves the CD. It is his and my favorite CD, and we play it often.
The fairies are closer than ever now.......2005-03-18 Beautiful, magical album that really sends my consciousness to dance with fairies and gets me dreaming of living in a green woods with lovely people around. For the one who was blaming the album I would say that you yourself are a freak, because your senses are so dull that you can't feel this magic anymore. And if you ask enlightened people, they say that fairies exist, but only in the right side of a brain... So only your feminine, intuitive part can see the fairies, and ghosts and other spirits that co-exist in another dimension parallel to our own. Small children can also see them. But if you live too much in your head you can't feel any of these things...
The artists in this records sure have experienced themselves and they share it in such a beautiful way that brings tears of gratitude to my eyes. So maximum respect to them!
Brilliant........2005-01-24 This is the most "Gothic" or "dark" sounding album of Stadler's. I'm not familliar with Rule's other work, but this disk is my favourite of the Faerie series. It's absolutely gorgeous, with transcendental musick and divine near-operetic aethereal vocals atop. She does sound like a Fae queen. I would recommend this to anyone who embraces the more dark side of Fae; someone big on introspection and meditation. This is a great release.. thanks you guys for such a gift.

Pretty good.......2006-01-13 Another enjoyable album from Deep Forest. Makes a great gift!
International richness.......2005-03-17 French, African, Peru, Asia, it all melts together so deliciously here. One thing I loved about the CD insert was more than passing mention of the artists. Love the South African voices which remind me a lot of the Ladysmith Black Mambazo singers from Paul Simons Graceland album.
Something Deep Forest does that is so rare and magical is use the human voice and unique instruments in a wonderful, rich and bountiful way.Deep Weather is a song that as I close my eyes I am reminded of almost rhythmic conversations I have heard on the beaches of Belize, Brazil or even Hawaii. And the harmonica or accordion used in the piece make it rustic as well.
My family laughed when I said that Comparsa started out reminding me of some Swiss dancers and quickly bounced over to some Cossack dancers and then Argentina. Talk about a world tour of dance.
Tres Maria the CD cover notes is dedicated to Ochun, Pantheon's divinity Yoruba, God of sweet waters, Queen of Beauty and Love, Master of Gold. Have read that this is where the custom of tossing a coin in a fountain or water source came from. Anyway the song is as sensual as she is said to have been.
Radio Belize has some awesome Spanish guitar work, and electronic vocals that are utterly fun to listen to. This whole CD is one I put on when I want to get alot done during the day. Not only is the music happy and well tempered but one cannot help but smile when listening to the CD. Also love what appears to be either alto or bass saxophone.
La lune se bat avec les etoiles... sounds a bit like some of what Yanni has on his Tribute CD. Which like his CD's done from the Taj Mahal, Forbidden City and Greece has such international flavours.
Forest Power has the rich and varied voices and flavours of Deep Forests Boheme CD.
Media Luna has a very Peruvian sound in my opinion. Even though the CD insert says its more 'Arab and Andalusian music meet in the world mix'. But listen closely and there it is. That beautiful Arabic voice.
All I know is I love it!!!
Deep Forest Rocks !!!!!.......2004-12-31 Deep Forest is one of the rare music groups which blend world music in a harmonious and coherent style. Their tracks stretch from Macedonia to Solomon Islands and from Hungary to Mongolia. It is really a soothing experience to listen to Deep Forest.
Wonderfully light.......2003-01-29 Deep Forest's third CD called Comparsa is wonderfully light and highly spiritual. As usual in their music, there is an element of folk music from different continents - this one represents some tribal sounds again. It is happy, stunning. My four-year-old daughter adores it. Great dancing tunes on top of dramatic, meditative scores. Highly recommended!
their best, IMHO.......2002-08-31 I like the first CD, Deep Forest, and I *Really* like this one. It really does justice to the World Music idea by incorporating folk sounds into a very upbeat sound.
What helps is the influence of the folk sounds adds naturally to the dance flavor of the CD, rather than being forced.
This was one of those few CDs that I put on "Repeat All" and listened to non-stop for several days after I got it.

Great masterpiece.......2003-03-25 This is an excellent Cd recorded in Prague, it's an hommage to Antonin Dvórak with an excellent interpretation of segments of the most important masterpieces composed by this Czech artist, the recording is excellent, if you are some audiophile this recording sounds great with excellent soundstage and acoustic atmosphere, also if you like Czech culture you will be surrounded by a feeling like if you were in Prague walking through Malá Strana, St.Wenceslao Square or Karl's bridge. I recommend this Cd very much.

Un bon et utile cadeau pour tous amoureux du parfum
Ce livre tient le difficile pari de réunir foule de choses: informations sur les parfums et leur histoire; aperçu rapide (mais pertinent) sur la chimie des parfums; fabrication de ceux-ci à l'époque contemporaine; introduction à la classification internationale des parfums (les fameuses "sept familles" de la Société Française des Parfumeurs)- avec, pour chaque famille, l'évocation et la description de quelques parfums s'y rattachant, devenus grands classiques; enfin -c'est là une partie originale du livre, rarement abordée dans d'autres ouvrages du même genre- une description rapide des "particularismes nationaux": ce que préfèrent les Japonais en matière de parfums, ce qu'en revanche privilégie le marché américain...
Une dernière partie aborde d'autres aspects intéressants de la parfumerie moderne: l'aromathérapie (action du parfum sur les humeurs), le bon usage de l'encens et des pots-pourris; enfin, des "recettes parfumées" à faire chez soi, à partir d'ingrédients trouvables sur le marché et de prix tout à fait accessible.
En fin d'ouvrage, un petit lexique-glossaire ("Les mots du parfum"); quelques adresses utiles (dans la France entière- pas seulement à Paris); une courte bibliographie.
En définitive: un joli livre, intelligent, bien fait- et (ce qui ajoute à son charme): un beau papier glacé; des photos nettes et bien prises; une excellente mise en page, rendant la lecture facile tant qu'agréable- oui, un livre réussi, et un très bon choix de cadeau.

Wonderful and exotic music for your ear and soul!
Wacky, wacky group!.......2002-09-20 Wild, Wild World Mix Music. What is "World Mix Music"? Can't really explain it. All I know is that I heard one song and bought the album. The pygmie yodeling song got to me. (I actually heard it in my sleep!)
Listened to it so much, I can't anymore. It's different, if you like that sort of thing.
A PIECE OF EDEN.......2002-03-29 Like in the Bible, this CD is a trip inside a forest, where the past, represented by primitive people, could be felt like a return to the beginning of Genesis, where world was just a Sweet lullaby during the firsts twilights, and humans and trees, animals and even the wind sung togheter. It is also a description of a wanted future. Best Songs: Sweet Lullaby, Sunrise at Alcatraz, Forest Hymn
