About the Artist
Micheline Allaire and Alain Lemay have been collaborating since 1991: theirs is a true partnership, in which they create and compose together, growing with and supporting each other along the way. With 15 years of on-going study on humanity and its components, they research how the body reacts to music and sound. Great emphasis is placed on mental and physical attitude and well-being, in order to harmonize the body and balance its energies.

Alain Lemay

Alain Lemay is a classically trained pianist and self-taught composer who has been composing since the age of 14. After 11 years of piano study at Vincent d'Indy College, in Montreal, Quebec; he later went on to get a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Montreal.

Alain currently teaches music at École secondaire Le Carrefour (high school) in Varennes, Quebec; he involves his students in such projects as school bands and the annual production of their own CD for fund-raising purposes. Alain is constantly pursuing his interest in the effects of music on health and well-being, occasionally giving seminars on the subject.

Micheline Allaire

As a professional actress, Micheline Allaire has played many lead roles on Radio-Canada (1961-1971), the French branch of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and at Expo '67. Micheline Allaire founded and was artistic director of Théâtre-Soleil (1971-1984), a touring company, where she wrote and directed 14 children's plays. The song "Vive l'Enfant" was selected as the theme song for the International Year of the Child in 1979.

Her rich experience, vast sensibilities and her love for Humanity are the essence for her involvement in musical endeavors with Alain Lemay. They currently give courses and seminars on positive self-development.

Wonderful Healing Tools.......2005-08-21

This CD is great for learning to give a chakra healing to yourself and others. It includes a very useful track that guides you how to sense "energy" in your hands. It also has a centering meditation which helps one to prepare for the healing session.

The music is extremely relaxing and creates an ideal background for healing. The voice instructions are easy to follow. The first time I tried it with a friend it worked so well she fell asleep and felt refreshed after.

This CD is good for both beginners and more experienced practitioners. I recommend it highly.

Not very good, there is so much good music out there, I doubt you will listen to this more than one or twice.

Best Native American music I've ever heard.......2003-09-27

To anyone who may be interested, this Heal CD by John Two-Hawks is by far the best Native American music I have ever heard. I own a massive collection of Native music, most of which I have only played a few times. But this Heal CD goes with me everywhere, I listen to it constantly, it is just that good. I had heard that John Two-Hawks was considered one of the top Native flutists in the world. When I heard his Heal CD, I was convinced that he may be the best Native flutist I have ever heard - period. But the Heal CD is more than John Two-Hawks on the flute! It is also John Two-Hawks on: Synthesizer, Guitars, Mandolin, Dulcimer, and all kinds of Indian drums and rattles. And to top it all off, the guy has an awesome singing voice! But with all that music going on, his haunting flutes are always at the front, leading the way, and the other instruments blend beautifully as background to his flutes. It is hard to believe, when listening to this Heal CD, that one man composed, created, and played all that incredible music. Simply amazing. I HIGHLY recommend the Heal CD to anyone who is looking for really great Native American music!

Jade's music is so moving that some of the selections on this CD bring tears to my eyes. This is music for all ages and we plan to share her music with our church family, both young and old.
