About the Artist
Jason and Nolan Livesay, twin brothers, are concert composers as well as classically trained violinists. They began studying violin at age eight and have studied with Chen Yang at the University of Redlands, Ruth Meints at Azusa Pacific University, and Todor Pelev at the Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts. Both Jason and Nolan have won first place in national violin competitions and have served as concertmasters of numerous orchestras in Southern California. Jason and Nolan both hold degrees in music theory and composition from Azusa Pacific University, where they studied with Phil Shackleton. The twins have worked together on many projects, including commissioned works, film scores, and original stage musicals. Their most recent projects include "The Outer Chair," a film from Emissary Pictures, and the world premiere production of "Treasure Island" the musical at LifeHouse Theatre in Redlands, CA.

CD title doesn't do this album justice.......2006-05-27

Don't let the title of this CD turn you off.
The music is much more than just soothing. It's magical.
It's like listen to a whole album of wonderful movie scores.
Take a chance and buy it. I know you won't be sorry.
I hope someone will help these talented young brothers get the notice and praise they deserve, and help them produce a second album. To bad American Idol was around back when these young gentlemen produced this album. We would be seeing a new mega-star born.
Listen to the album and see if you don't agree.

Wonderful sounds.......2006-01-02

This is a marvelous collection of original music from the Livesay brothers. Perfect for introspection or studying. Thie film music is tremendous also.

Amazing Classroom Tool.......2001-03-19

I am an instructional asst. in a Special Ed. class for emotionally disturbed kids aged 8-11. Most of our kids are on meds for their severe behavior problems. I listened to SOOTHING MOMENTS and loved it so I decided to try it out in my classroom. I was amazed and grateful when I turned on the CD and the entire class calmed down. Now, it is a part of our classroom schedule. We listen to it twice a day on a regular basis. The students even request it now on their own for their quiet time. SOOTHING MOMENTS has become one of our most effective tools in our classroom. Amazing!!!

this is an amesome cd. i listen to it to put me to sleep and i love it. it is beautiful! i highly recommend this for winding down or relaxing at anytime during the day. its great! :)

This is the first cd I have ever heard that was inspired by the angels of heaven. Soothing moments will sweep you off of your feet, take you into a fantastic whirlwind of musical pleasure, and leave you with magical melodies running through your head all day long. You must buy this at once! In fact, you should purchase two copies incase your first copy gets stolen. You'll thank me for this.
