Customer Reviews:
For truckers?.......2001-03-07
For Klaus, this was an experiment. Oh well, all his music is experimental as such. Nevrtheless "Drive Inn" is the first album of his that features short compositions. They were written with truck drivers in mind, but I haven't heard of any truck driver that would be able to stay calm with this music in the player. The compositions are either electronically aggressive, or they are monotonous in a typical Schulzian way.
the album can be pretty much summarized as follows: rhythm, rhythm and a bunch of wild sounds thrown in from time to time. In the legacy of Klaus Schulze this album represents a minor event. However, all of you who are interested in what Rainer Bloss might have to say - should consider purchasing this album.
For everyone - I would reccomend the sequel, "Drive Inn II", composed and performed solely by Rainer Bloss.
