Nicole Redner's "Le Fou de Bassan (Lullaby for a Seagull)" is Ecopop music at its absolute best! The French and English tracks move the listener with Nicole's beautiful and compelling voice and with the incredible story portrayed by the lyrics, that of the environmental disaster caused by the Erika oil spill. The instrumental track swells as it carries one upon the very wind and the sea. This CD is a welcomed addition to my collection of environmental and animal welfare music. It carves its own place in the new genre of music called Ecopop!
