This is one of may favorite R&B CDs of all time. Olu has nailed a unique R&B sound without biting off of rap beats, too many keyboards or trying to sound something like pop. Great relaxing album, it's easy to just put on and listen to the whole thing. Very smooth. The vocals are right on without going over the top and the music is tastefully and expertly done.

Olu was one of those musical artists that everytime I heard something from him; I always stopped dead in my tracks when listening to XM's The Flow #61 and said who is this I love this song. Never thinking that there would be an entire CD set to take me away to a moment of reflection and sweet soothing sounds. Love this CD-- love this brothah and can't get enough of that relaxing, haunting beat and voice. Kudos to those who embrace the Olu world of feel good neo-soul. This one will bring a smile to your face and a high five from your listening sistahs and brothahs!!!!!

An R&B singer that can sing and doesn't have to worry about dancing. I bought this album in 1999 and it has not lost any of it's luster. I am wondering why Olu's label didn't give him another album. I suspect that his music is too "grown" for the current crop of B2K and R.Kelly fans. As I wait for new LP's from Maxwell, D'Angelo, and Rapheal Sadiqq (Remy Shand also), Olu keeps me cool with real grown folk R&B (not Rap and bull&%!$). This is not Nu-Soul music as this monicker grows more and more contrived, restricting and corny. Writer, producer, plays most of the intruments, this brother is hot, someone please give him a chance.
