About the Artist
Known in parts of the Midwest as the Fishin Musician (he also ties his own flies), Joe Augustine's interest in flyfishing is second only to his love of playing piano. His musical ability went undiscovered until the age of 15, when he sat down at a piano in the music room of his high school and repeated what the student teacher there had just played. The teacher, realizing his aptitude for the instrument, encouraged him to take lessons.
This he did, studying for 2 years with Gene Rush, presently the director of the Jazz program at the University of Memphis. Gene greatly influenced Joes jazz playing and also directed him to classical instructor Dolores Fitzer, a former soloist at Carnegie Hall. Joe remained under Dolores tutelage throughout his college years at Youngstown State University. Although he earned his bachelors degree in business, Joe played 5-6 gigs a week while in college as well, never seeming to get enough time at the piano.
Upon graduation in 1971, Joe walked into the newly opened Avalon Resort in Warren, Ohio and has been playing there 6 nights a week ever since. Of his 25-year engagement Joe comments, Ive had to learn, play and understand all kinds of music. Painting that musical picture each night is a wonderful way to market new arrangements.
Joe has received professional acclaim over the years for his performances with local symphony orchestras and in 1987 The Ohio Arts Council selected him as an Ohio Artist On Tour. More recently, the Steinway Piano Company honored Joe by making him one of their designated Steinway Artists.
His economic yet expressive style allows any listener to feel involved in his music. The spirit of pleasing the listener is reflected in Joes recordings as well as his live performances. Constant practice in front of a live audience produces an artistic virtuosity that allows Joes arrangements to change and evolve through continual improvisation. His understanding of harmonic texture and musical color reveals an artist who is sensitive to the emotions evoked by a song and has a real desire to appeal to his audience.

Best Neil He Never Wrote!.......2000-09-22
Let's face it, some of the songs Neil Diamond performs on "Touching You Touching Me" were written by other artists:Mr. Bojangles (Jerry Jeff Walker), Everybody's Talkin'(Fred Neill), Both Sides Now (Joni Mitchell) and Until It's Time For You To Go (Buffy Sainte-Marie). But, hey, when he sings them, he really makes them come to life! His compositions on this CD are better than the above mentioned songs, like the up-tempo "Smokey Lady", the religious "Holly Holy", the touching "And The Singer Sings His Song", and the country-bumpkin tones of "New York Boy". Every song's a winner here, which makes "Touching You Touching Me" a must buy.

Holy, Marvelous, Beautiful, Wonderful Is Our Savior!.......2006-06-08
Seldom have I encountered worship material as peace-evoking and anointed as this. The title "Touching the Father's Heart" is altogether appropriate, but fails to encompass the beautiful way in which the Father is able to reach into even the most shattered heart. Listeners to this album are then swept up into His arms and drawn so close that no more room exists for anger or pain.
This CD begins with an upbeat version of "The Lord Almighty Reigns", a song that includes heartfelt praise by the congregation.
Next is "O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing", which I have found particularly edifying. So seldom are hymns sung in worship; when they are, they are generally "modernized". This version of the beloved hymn is slow, gentle, and truly anointed of the Holy Spirit.
"All Over the World" is a gentle balad that, though beautiful in its own right, I found to be rather repetitive.
"Before You Now" is a vivid, peaceful portrait of God's glory. Included are the words "radiance", "glory", and many other joy-evoking phraises depicting the splendor of the King.
This lyrical masterpiece is followed by "Psalm 19", a prayer for sanctification and the ability to be used of God.
"Everything Is in Your Hands" is a song of surrender that ends in a declaration of yielding to the Lord's will.
"I Wanna Testify" was the only song that I, personally, found to be too upbeat. The change in tempo was too drastic for a transition from worship to praise. However, I do not doubt its power to touch others.
"Marriage of the Lamb" is filled with allusions to the New Jeruselam of Revelation. This is a delightful blessing to me, as I love God's prophecies as contained within that book. Its tempo, too, is somewhat fast, rather reminiscent of Robin Mark's "Days of Elijah". However, the congregation sings this with utmost praise in their hearts.
"Holy Love" is a slower worship tune that assures believers that "many waters cannot quench [God's] love" and that "darkness cannot overwhelm it". It is an exhortation for God to fill His people with peace and a holy form of Agape love.
"In the Quiet of This Moment" consists of a joyous contemplation of communing with God. It is followed by what is arguably the most anointed song on the CD, "Precious Pearl". The song was later translated into French. In both languages, it is saturated by the love of Jesus Christ. No matter the state of my heart, I am filled with peace when I listen to the lyrics, sung directly to Jesus :
"You are my portion
You are my satisfaction
Nothing else can take the place of loving You
You're my inheritance
Not as the world can give
Your love is like a buried treasure,
A precious pearl beyond all measure,
Beautiful,
So valuable."
The twelfth and thirteenth songs consist of praise for God's salvation and a plea for His mercy and forgiveness, respectively. Both are powerfully used of God.
Terry Butler, Scott Brenner--indeed, the congregation with them--all fade when this CD is inserted into a player. What one hears instead is the love of Jesus. I would strongly recommend this beautiful worship material to anyone seeking a closer relationship with God.
A classic worship album that lasts........2005-09-29
Of all the Vineyard CDs that have been in my player, this is probably the one I'll wear out first. From the hand-clapping 'hallelujah' at the beginning, to the toe-tapping cry for mercy at the end, this artfully-produced worship album takes you on a journey of praise and prayer that is worth repeating.
Worship leaders Terry Butler and Scott Brenner share the album, with Terry doing a set that showcases his strong songwriting hooks, while Scott goes deep into the quiet worship that he does so well. Both songwriters lead mostly from the keyboard on this album, backed by tasteful organ & synth pads. But don't miss the blistering guitar soloes, soulful sax interludes, and jazzy flute parts. It's hard not to like this album.
That said, there are not a lot of rowdy songs on the album, but there are a lot of usable songs -- and not just for keyboard. Some of the best songs on this album are equally playable on piano or guitar.... or even better for guitar.
If you're looking for simple worship songs to teach a congregation, be aware that some of Scott's melodies may be a bit daunting; while they grow on you, they would be hard to teach in a short time.
Some songs are 'naturals'; others are not. Perhaps what surprises me the most is how these talented worship teams turned even the mediocre tunes into enjoyable, worshipful songs that stand up to repeated listening. This is a lasting album that you can continue to draw on for private worship as well as for congregational classics.

Album Description
"Have You Ever Touched a Dream?" is Daybehavior's second album, following up the popular Scandinavian debut album "Adored". This Swedish band has a style all their own, combining top notch electronic production with an absolutely dreamy female vocalist. Some of the songs are uptempo, danceable club tracks, while others are melancholy trip-hop flavored songs. All together, it adds up to a great listening experience.
The first 1,000 copies include a limited edition bonus disc which includes the winning remixes from a contest that was open to electronic musicians from all over the world. There are winning mixes from countries like Russia, Greece, Spain, Germany, Sweden, etc. plus a couple of contributions by Daybehavior themselves. Pick up the album quickly for the great extras!

Catchy dance pop.......2006-03-11
I recently discovered Day Behavior when I heard a remix of their song of "Close Your Eyes" on the latest cd by DJ Copper Top. I absolutely was hooked by the catchy hooks. Normally my taste in muisc leans towards EBM, goth, and industrial music but I occasionally will dabble in the poppier side of dance music. I recently got a copy of the Scandinavian's album "Have You Ever Touched a Dream?". I was hooked the moment I heard the opening song "Give Me". I love the lush female vocals and the gentle throbbing dance beats. My favorite songs are the more upbeat songs like "Give Me" and "Close Your Eyes" but I also dug the more downtempo tracks such as "Heaven" and "The Moments I Couldn't Save". I couldn't help but notice on the slower songs a slight resemblence to Olive and a smidgeon of Solar Twins. "Have You Ever Touched a Dream?" is a fun dance pop album. I enjoy it immensely.
gross.......2005-10-31
This is not even in the same categorie as Iris depeche mode etc. This is euro dance crap. I think that to much of this euro dance is being lumped into the same genre of music as the groups I mentioned and that is sad. Just because there are keyboards and its dance music does not mean its in the same genre as Iris de/vision etc.
Have You Ever Touched a Dream?.......2005-06-05
I've come to rely a great deal on A Different Drum to provide me with good, quality synthpop-styled music that rarely disappoints. They're a small independent record label that supports and markets groups such as Daybehavior, enabling these talented unknowns to express themselves freely and to actually get their musings out there... I first heard of Daybehavior through an Internet acquaintance who recommended them to me. They said it was "my type of music" and was pretty adamant about it, so with time I listened to samples, liked what I heard, and decided to buy it... Needless to say I was glad I did! Daybehavior's 'Have You Ever Touched a Dream?' swirls with heavenly female voices set to energetic as well as soothing electronics, sounding like an amalgam of Solar Twins and Mandalay with their darker down-tempo/trip-hop melodies, and like ATB/Lasgo with the more uplifting, club friendly dance-pop tracks. The only song that's cast apart from the others is "Devil In Me" which is deeply infused with driving industrial beats.
amazing music... not.......2005-04-25
If you really like stuff that was trendy crap 10 years ago then, by all means, pick up this album. If you like MUSIC try something else.
Very nice, good, stuff!.......2004-12-02
I bought this CD on a whim, since Amazon recommended it to me.
I didn't know what to expect from it. I listened to a few tracks online, but I don't like listening to things from the middle, but what I heard, I enjoyed.
So, I bought the CD. I saw that it had 2 CDs, and the second one was mostly remixes, which I didn't mind. I love remixes.
The CD opens up, with a rather, open/airy song: "Give Me". I fall in love with the singers voice, it's very beautiful and smooth. I love smooth voices. The song it's self is slow, and kinda dancy. More of one of those slow tracks to let everyone rest.
Most of the songs after that are slow and airy, and then we have, "Close Your Eyes" which speeds things up a bit. It has a good beat, and those same beautiful vocals.
Then we come to "Bleed". It's kind of dark. Rock feel to it, which I was surprised at. It's very pretty, and really shows it's dark undercurrents.
The rest of the songs, are rather dark, and it surprised me. Due to the first songs, and then coming to this dark stuff. It becomes brighter with Superstar, but then falls back into the dark sound that I am used to.
All in all, I love this CD. It's new. It's different, just what I have been looking for. I love new things, and this new genre is great.

You are in Control - TFH #33 .......2005-09-29
Overall, I like this CD. I took a chance and purchased it off of Ebay. I'm a major lover of Vineyard music because for the most part they have kept the praise and worship style that Christians fell in love with from old. If you are an early Vineyard fan, I guarantee that you will like atleast 10 songs on this CD.
I must honestly tell you what you are getting yourself involved in at the same time. Two of the cuts sound like being front row at a rock concert. I guess they called themselves trying to produce a CD that will cater to the masses. I personally enjoyed the Vineyard and Hosanna music of old. When they tried to produce the type of music they felt would interest this generation, I believe that they lost something in return. Hey, if it's not broke - don't fix it! If you compare the Vineyard of old and the Vineyard in the new - it's a huge difference. Some of the tracks I don't even bother to transfer to my mp3 player.
If you are looking for a great Vineyard CD try "You are the Mighty King" featuring Eddie Espinosa. If you are a Vineyard fan, you will wear it out!!!!!!!!!!

Good album.......2001-06-04
Musicwise, this is good if you like the southern rock or blues feel. This album is way 70s (that's a compliment). Being a rocker myself, one thing that I don't care for is the praise and worship ensemble style with the driving rhythms. "I will give thanks" has cool rock riffs, but when the vocals come in with the "praise song" style it doesn't quite fit. In that song the vocals could've been a little edgier, and less well...Vineyard. :-) (By "praise song" I mean a song and vocal style, I don't mean compromise praise spiritually). Don't get me wrong though. The album is great. The slide guitar is very cool, and it's a nice change of pace from the usual "west coast light rock" riffs from the other Vineyard albums. I prefer the slower worship songs over the faster songs. (I rarely ever listen to the popular title track.) Spiritually the album is inspirational. The lyrics are really thoughtful and worshipful. It's great for personal times with God. My favorite ones on the album are "The Face of Jesus", "Hail, Hail the Lamb of God", and "You Bless me Lord".
"You Are God" - Great addition to the TTFH series.......1999-03-08
Set 1 by Scott Underwood, worship leader at Anaheim Vineyard, CA. Set 2 by Mark McCoy, leader at San Diego Vineyard, CA. I especially like the songs "All Your Ways" and "To Him Be the Glory"

"I Will Give Thanks" is my fav song because of its vengence rythm! "You Bless Me Lord" is profoundly beautiful in expressing love to God in midst of grief and pain.

An uplifting worship experience.......2006-06-02
Funky guitar rythms, excellent vocals, this has to be one of the best mood lifting albums i have heard. "I love loving you" breaks the mould slightly from the usual vineyard style. Most of the songs are quite upbeat including the title tract "I love loving you" which has a very catching hook to it, the ever popular "I will not be shaken" and one of my favourites "I delight in you" which has a tropical feel to it. This is one album i would not want to skip over any tracts and i would recommend it to anyone who likes to dance around the living room whilr doing the housework.
