Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Sit back, relax, and feel great.......2006-05-10

This Govi CD, one of my favorites, contains some of his best soft music that I most appreciate listening to alone at home or driving on the open road. These classic Govi guitar tunes are impeccably played. My favorites are Cuchama and Chill on Your Huevos; a very well done song that has a distinctive Eagles flavor. The only track that I can't appreciate is Spring in the East -- a bit out of my interest zone. The recording quality of this disc is a big improvement over the two previous Govi releases. I'd rate it 5 stars except for the one track and I would have liked to see a couple of more songs included.
If someone is looking to purchase their first Govi CD -- this is a good one to start with. George M -- Phoenix, AZ

5 out of 5 stars Another splendid CD by Govi.......2004-12-13

Beautiful and zippy guitar music. I like every song unlike some CD's where there is always one or two that you wish you could just delete. Great for listening to while cleaning the house or like I do, listen to at work on my headphones.

4 out of 5 stars Very Soft and Soothing.......2003-05-23

Cuchama is the only album I own by Govi and it was an excellent one to start with. Govi uses very soft guitar music and he also uses some other little small instruments around it,what a combination! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there are only 4 songs which are really my favorites. But mostly all the songs are good.

"Cuchama" is my favorite song on the album and mostly it's one of the only ones that has the most action in it."Spirit Rider" is an excellent one, it's very nice with the soft guitars and I listen to it all the time. That takes us to"Chili On Your Huevos" with has kind of a little bit unusual beat and it's another one of my favorites.

I would recommend Cuchama to anyone who likes soft guitar music or mostly any new age listener.

5 out of 5 stars As Good As It Gets.......2002-07-27

This album of Govi's is a real show case of the crafts of a master guitar player.

If I had to pick just one piece from this CD as really outstanding it would be "Spirit Rider" but then "Hanatel Bay" is also a very good piece and then there is.

My point being that I feel this is really a splended CD.

Govi gives the listener a wide and colorful range of exceptional music to just listen to and enjoy.

5 out of 5 stars Another GOVI masterpiece!.......2002-03-14

Having just recently bought... GOVI's "Heart Of A Gypsy" album, and with 'full-marks' going to that album, it made my ears itching to catch more from that true guitarra genius! So, I purchase "Cuchama" almost immediately. With Cuchama to my credit, my GOVI inventory has reached a magical figure of 'six'. Incredible ..

The listening pleasure coming from Cuchama's composition goes deep into my soul. So deep it is, that it transform my well-being to dizzy heights. Cuchama caresses your sub-conscious feelings and makes it tingle with a warm-all-over feeling. This is music for humankind, the type that eliminates the (-ve) bad 'chi' from your body system.

You will feel more energertic, more alive, your moods improving, and it is akin to having a large dose of endophin 'feel-good' hormone injected directly into your throbbing veins.

GOVI's immaculate guitar skills (and that of his accompanying musicians, as well) are 'world-class'. The recording quality (as you wud expect from REAL MUSIC) is 1st class. Pristine, clear, well engineered, mixed and pressed! Kudos for a job well done!

Cuchama is highly recommended!

Two years since his last release ("Seventh Heaven"), keep a close look out for Govi's latest offering this year (from Higher Octave Music). Simply entitled "Mosaico". (released just two days ago on 12 Mar 2002). I, for one, will definitely and patiently await its emergence at the music store ...

Congratulations, GOVI.
