I think the cleopatra label is related to the Projekt label which started with goth, then some ambient, then other stuff like this later. I like thier goth stuff, but never any of the ambient or trance. This one has a bunch of artists that are not really "big" in goa. Only one or two of the tracks out of the whole set caught my ear - and not for long. It's not really BAD or poorly produced, its just boring.

I am in agreement with Chris, definitively is not real GOA experience but really there is good tracks in this box. This it is a recommended CD for those who wishes to listen to nice trance atmospheres mixed with some Goa trance elements, on this record are combined the acid and the pretty atmospheres. This is recommendable record for those who want to listen to pretty and harmonious things.

I must admit that I have not heard this CD set. Being a Goa-fanatic, though, I consider myself and expert, and I maybe recognize 1 or 2 artists between all 3 CDs in the set. If you are looking for the true Goa experience (or introduction), I would suggest looking somewhere else.

The music on these CDs may be fantastic, but the definitive Goa experience it is not.

though not as continuous as it should be, this CD is as great a compilation album as i can think of, showing the variety of sound and influence that is goa. definitely worth buying
