About the Artist
From the banks of the Danube river comes Emöke (Emuhkah) like soft water falling from the East. We are transported on a magical carpet high above the Carpathian mountains and across the dark water of the Caspian sea. Her melodies are at once ethereal and grounded in 1000 years of history. When the sun slowly rises or the moon pulls you into the arms of Morpheus, her music will accompany you. Emöke loves water and her otherworldly music will make you feel that everything is a dream.

Emöke coursed her undergraduate and graduate studies in classical piano in Hungary in the Franz Liszt Music Conservatory. She is finishing her doctorate in the United States.

At the end of the day, this music calms me down and gently releases me from the stresses. The pieces are very well composed and played. Romantic or sometimes even sad East European feelings throughout the album attract me very much!

Definitely a great album for setting a romantic mood. I find myself putting it on for relaxation as well. Smooth, soothing melodies and refined pianism at its best. If you like Enya this album is for you.
