Product Description
A SPARROW-GRASS HUNT is the name of a French trio led by Julien ASH (LES NOUVELLES LECTURES COSMOPOLITES), founded in 2003. Pierre-Yves LEBEAU and Dutch singer Liesbeth HOUDIJK were previously involved in musical projects, such as HIDE AND SEEK. The first album of that new band earns an evocative title: "Le Journal Du Dormeur" (2004), that means "The Sleeper's Diary". It gathers musical illustrations of authentic dreams, spoken or sung on melancholic musical atmospheres. Piano, acoustic guitar, violin (Courtesy of Rosalie HARTOG) and synthesizers meet male and female voices, in order to create the soundtrack of a cloudy night. Neo-classical music is not that far away...
