The original cords of the music are wonderfully relaxing and melodic. They are soothing and contemplative, but the whole track keeps repeating the same melodies and cords over and over and over again throughout the length of the cd. In my opinion, it would have been nice to have some different melodies and cords mixed in to the originals, which I thought there was when I sampled the cd online. The cd does have some "magical" qualities in the music that can take you to another place thought, if you can put up with the same melodies over and over again.

If you don't like the same music repeated over and over again for an hour, I would recommend NOT buying this cd.

Excellent background music for the Reiki Practitioner.......2005-04-14

This is a collaboration by German born guitarist Anuvida and German composer and keyboardist Nik Tyndall. On this CD Anuvida plays the Kiboe, a harplike instrument Anuvida devised and some "electronic devices", Nik Tyndall works the synthesizers and added environmental sounds.

This CD contains five tracks for a total play time of 52:05 minutes. The focus of this CD is to provide background accompaniment to the healing art of Reiki.

The two artists combine their talents to provide gentle, floating soundscapes that allows the client to relax and focus on the attentions of the Reiki practitioner as the healing modality is applied. The kiboe provides the placid melodies while the keyboard provides soothing backfill. The titles "Entering the Mystery", "Gently Floating" and "Blissful Arrival" are suggestive of the feeling the artists successfully convey with this work. There are elements of water and other "environmental sounds" which adds to the soothing nature of this music. Each piece smoothly melds into the next, never lifting the feeling of the music from the listener.

This is a excellent example of the work of these two artists who have collaborated many times together. The CD works very well with the Reiki healing modality and I highly recommend it.

I practice Reiki and my cousin got me this CD for a present. I thought that it was going to be hokey or something, but I love it. I use it nearly everytime I practice yoga and sometimes my boyfriend just pops it in to relax to.

Relaxation.......2001-07-16

I listened to Touch of Love at a Reiki session I took for relational puposes and the music made me so happy and it put my body in such a relaxed state. I felt like a child again. Love this CD and recommend it.

Healing Music.......2000-11-21

The beautiful, fluid sounds of the kiboe instrument bring Reiki healing music to a new level. The combination of mellow Oriental overtones and occasional backdrop of running water is very soothing. The gentle, calming quality of this CD makes it ideal to use during Reiki treatments.
