About the Artist
Chris first sang professionally 25 years ago, and has been enhancing his meditations with toning and singing for more than 20 years. For the last twelve years he has been sharing his love of the human voice by teaching.
Chris and his wife Jenny travel the world teaching singing, meditation and learning together. They are dedicated to teaching the healing power of sound, singing and the attainment of knowledge and empowerment that comes from discovering one's natural voice.
Jenny's understanding of healing, the power of voice and drum and her commitment to healing voices adn hearts brings a new dimension to the teaching.
Chris brings to his voice development teachings additional skills gained as a professional singer, musician, martial arts exponent, transpersonal therapist and as a monk. They teach annually in norway, Germany, New Zealand and Hawaii. Also in the UK where Chris has been invited to teach by The English Shakespheare Company and the Findhorn Foundation, features at St. James Alternatives in Piccadilly, and at festivals.
They tour extensively in Australia, Chris is the resident voice teacher at the University of Western Australia's Summer School. He has released 5 Compact Disc and a double cassette of a workshop and meditation. He is the founder of The Sound Foundation, a charity registered in the U.K. dedicated to expanding the General Public's awareness of the power of sound, and to teaching in fiancially and culturally deprived environments. The foundation is currently planning Sound Festivals to be held around the world, to be administered with a commitment to open-hearted service.
