You have no idea how long I've waited to see these cues to see the light of day ~ Percy's classic, sensual and expressive performances are all here for the listener to soak up and savor. Many of us have had to satisfied with LP's and copies taped from other collectors and libraries ~ now for the first time we can enjoy Faith's music and arrangements, the way they were meant to be heard.
Stand outs, and there are many ~ "FLIGHT 33 1/3", "BRAZILIAN SLEIGHT BELLS", "CAREFREE", "NERVOUS GAVOTTE" and "FIDDLE DERBY" and those are just the selections composed by Percy Faith ~ "ONE NIGHT OF LOVE", "MY SHAWL", "BEAUTIFUL LOVE", "I'LL TAKE ROMANCE", "WALTZ IN SPRINGTIME", "A KISS IN THE DARK" and "WHILE WERE YOUNG" bring the ultra lush sounds of Faith's signature strings, which he is so famous for ~ "CAROUSEL WALTZ" and "MARCH OF THE SIAMESE CHILDREN", transforms the listener through the portals of a musical journey of make believe with all the trimmings, both from Richard Rodgers.
