About the Artist
Pete "wyoming" Bender is truly a "world" musician. Of Comanche heritage he records and lives in Berlin and has a background in English rock and blues.

Much of Pete's early schooling was in Europe and while in London he began playing keyboards and singing with Alexis Korner, who had a hand in founds such seminal rock bands as Cream, the Spender Davis Group and Blindfaith.

Bender returned to the U.S. shortly after the Wounded Knee uprising. Bender lived on the reservation and joined the American Indian Movement's Yankton Sioux Chapter. He returned to Germany where he opened AIM's European office.

Bender started composing instrumental music through his work on a variety of soundtracks and his "Canyon Drums" CD is ranked as a top-selling Native American release.
