    If you look up "The Great Stupa" in a Amazon.com search, you will find three listings. Only one is authorized by the producer of The Great Stupa CD and by the center that the CD is a benefit for. The authorized version is identical to the other listings except for some important points.
    1. This is the updated and improved "PC Enhanced" version, the changes were made in late 2003.
    2. The authorized version has the best price and availability!
    3. This version truly benefits the retreat in Colorado that the producer and artists intended for it to do.

    I bought this collection on a store in a Budist place, where I went to find some peace to work on a important enterprise to me. I found not only the spiritual peace and compassion but also a great work reflecting a mission we are all forgetting. Give love and compassion a chance, let's all start to eliminate suffer from the universe and spread hapiness to all living beings. This collection is a great start, to anyone who hasn't start yet...

    I wish record companies would realize we're not all idiots and that we like to hear music packaged for intelligent people. This has been my surprise favorite of the year, and each time I listen I like it more. These CD's have heart, as reflected in the artsy book that accompanies it. The message is compassion - something the world could use a little more of these days.

    Don't know anything about Buddhism, but I do know the music is great - I'm a Sting fan, but I liked the other tracks even more. Some artists I'd never heard of, like Mynta, were cool. This is a great CD to put on at a party, because it flows, and all the songs are good.

    But I think the kicker is the book. It's like a coffee table book with great artwork (100+ pages). I keep it on my table in the living room and friends come over, flip through it, and always ask about it. Because of that, I think it's a great value.
