Almost perfect.......2005-04-21

I agree with another reviewer in the fact that the birds chirping can be distracting; it would get my son's attention instead of luring him to relax. When he was placed in the crib half asleep he would open his eyes wide open when he would hear a bird, and would try to look where the sound came from. There is another part that sounds like a whistle (another bird), and is constant through one song. But he got used to it (it may have taken a couple of weeks) and he is quite happy with it now.

There are other songs that have night sounds, is not all birds. This is the only CD I could stand listening to over and over again. To me, it is very relaxing.

Pretty but not soothing.......2004-06-04

This is a very pretty lullaby collection overlayed with bird and nature sounds. However, my 16 month old was not lulled to sleep because the chirping noises attracted her attention and she wanted to clap her hands instead. The bird noises actually sound more like early morning chirping.

Soothing Lullabies.......2004-01-05

My mohter-in-law bought this CD for my newborn's nursery. The soothing music and sounds of nature helps her off to dreamland. I play the CD as I'm nursing her and it relaxes me as well. It's a great way to end a long day.
