    Today, we walked into the Chicago Visitors Center and heard this beautiful music. I was just about to ask the clerk about the artist of the music that I heard playing over the speakers, and looked over to see Hiko playing the music live. I was instantly mesmerized and sat down and listened to the entire performance. It was truly beautiful and incredible and took away all my worries and stresses of the past weeks. Now I am listening to the CDs we purchased including First Embrace which is equally incredible. I will be buying more copies for my daycare center to use in the classrooms for quiet times. I am sure the kids will develop a love for the effects of this music. I will even play it for the parents so they can hear it on their way in the door at the end of the day.

    Hiko, we enjoyed meeting you - you are truly an inspiration.

    Hiko's music is enchanting and captivating.I love his music.     I have listened to this CD repeatedly, and am moved every time. I have also used it in my meditation and journaling classes. Hiko's music has a way of helping us to travel within, and embrace the soul's essence. I also played this CD every morning for our guests at our bed & breakfast. It got rave reviews from all over the world!

    5 out of 5 stars A SOULFUL SOUNDSCAPE BY AN EXCEPTIONALLY GIFTED COMPOSER.......2002-04-02

    As a musician, I am always searching for something new and different, something that is not only exceptional musically, but something that touches my soul and inspires me. As soon as I began playing Hiko's "First Embrace" I knew I had found a soundscape upon which I wanted to experience life. "Wish", "Sophies Tears", "His Life on Earth" "October Sky", and "Angels Sing" are a few of my favorites. These and Hiko's other melodies are exquisite in their ability to gently and lovingly guide the listener to go beyond what they know of themselves, to experience all their emotions and ultimately, the beauty of their soul. There is a poem by Anais Nin that I think expresses the power of Hiko's musical gift, "Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born." As I listen to each one of Hiko's songs, the new world I experience within me gives me a greater appreciation of myself and of life. In "First Embrace" I have found that something new, something different. Whether you select "First Embrace" for another or yourself, I am certain your life will be blessed.
