Sweet, sweet music..........1999-12-10

Admittedly, I'm a little biased about this album. John has been one of my closest friends for the past several years. But, the truth is: I know every note of this album. I have listened to it hundreds of times. John is not the kind of guy to brag on himself, so I'll do it for him. John is a consistently creative and melodic composer and is very much at home with his instrument. He truly loves his craft, and when he picks up a guitar, folks always gather around and listen attentively. You will love his music, too.

Acoustic Guitar Music for the Soul........1999-06-08

If you want to go on a little vacation...just put the headphones on and let this music take you on a journey of the soul. Each piece is very different and evokes a different space in time. The playing is clean, but soft and can serve as studied inspiration, or a gentle backdrop. If you like fresh acoustic music...check it out.

Very sweet guitar. Good melodies........1999-05-28

This is a very tasty collection of guitar compositions. It's not real "showy", just real comfortable. I have seen this guy in concert a few times, and he just puts people at ease with his playing...sorta gentle, but still with some punch behind it. It's one of my favorite guitar albums.
