I find this CD a very powerful tool for journeying. The minute the sound of the rattle begins I make the transition to the appropriate altered state of consciousness and the journey starts. I recommend it highly.

This CD is wonderful for those with a background in Shamanism & journeying, as well as for anyone who wants a simple, nurturing way to relax. Just lie down, close your eyes, and the gentle, rhythmic rattle carries you to the liminal state of awareness, where body and mind can let go. In terms of my personal experience, I find the rattle takes me to a very deep place. I don't remember as many details afterwards as I do with a drum journey, but I feel as though a healing has taken place. This CD takes you away from the fast pace of the world & reconnects you to something larger.
