Beyond Beautiful.......2007-07-21

This music stands alone in its Pure, Melodic, Mystical Beauty. I discovered it when it was first released, and it has remained a complete favorite which never grows old. Like magic, this sound transports you to another realm of great space and peace and enchanting beauty. The flute-like melody breaks over you in waves of bliss and then truly does soar like a bird, carrying you along in its flight. There are long spaces of night-silence, punctuated by crickets and other night sounds--which might not please some listeners. But the sounds of night weave a spell of deep tranquillity--and when the melody breaks in upon you, ripples of bliss cascade through your being and your heart takes wing. This CD is perfect and timeless.

in 1994 along with some shrooms. It helped me
to work through my addictions

Back in 1989, before the advent of CDs, I had the cassette version of this classic album. I took it along with me on a spiritual pilgrimage to Peru. I meditated to this haunting music every morning, but it wasn't until I got to Machu Picchu and meditated there among the ruins, that I realized how accurately Rusty Crutcher captured the magic, essence, and spirit of that magnificent sacred site.

Whenever I hear this beautiful CD, it brings me right back to Peru and Machu Picchu, and my longing to go back there again.

It is an amazing cd. I was taken back by it!! it makes you feel like you are indeed in the ruins of Machu Picchu. Close your eyes, be in the dark and play this cd and you feel the Inca experience right through your senses... and feel the magic of Machu Picchu
