Excellent!.......2005-01-20

At the age of 56, I have traveled throughout much of the world, following my higher self, learning as much as I can about my true self - my beloved Spirit. And now I am sharing what I have learned. Besides my writing, I am a Chi fitness group instructor for the young and the young at heart. The exercises are essentially a continuous movement of Yoga, Qigong (Chi Kung)and Wu Shu forms for a period of up to sixty minutes. I use the music of this CD as background for my instruction. It is powerful yet peaceful. The low fundamental frequencies provide firm, solid grounding while the higher entrainment frequencies allow the rest of the body to flow freely in concert. With its Reiki touch, it provides a subtle, non-invasive means for attunement, thereby enabling the students to self-heal, strengthen and balance their personal energy systems - hence their flow of personal Chi. The music is awesome. It's perfect. I gave it four stars simply because I believe that there is always room for growth. Thank you Weave. Namaste.

Not at all what I expected.......2004-07-13

I am a massage therapist and am always looking for new music to use in my practice. I also do energy work similar to Reiki and thought this would be an excellent chioce based on the reviews. I and many of my clients were dissapointed. My clients complained that the music was boring. I try to use music that is very calming and relaxing without being boring or too stimulating to my clients. I actually foun this music agitating and promply resold it especially after my clients complained. I also think that the placement of the sacred symbol on the cover was not handled with the appropriate reverence.

Outstanding!.......2004-03-09

This is an outstanding masterpiece and very effective for Reiki. I like the way it flows and is not distracting; you can "become one" with the music.

Why is there a problem with symbols?.......2004-02-26

We communicate with symbols, because we think with symbols. Symbols are everywhere. I do not see anything wrong when there are used while doing something good! And as for all those Reiki symbols. Who made them sacred? Please read upon it's history!

Reiki is just a philosophy and a healing technique. Never was it meant to be a religious cult, which unfortunately, some "smart" business people project to be...

Let just enjoy the music and pay less attention to the "details"! There are more important issues in the World to worry about! Like the Holly Cross, lately, instead being respected as a symbol of Christian Faith, is used as a weapon, by those who are afraid of Christ's followers...Some groups, undoubtfully, would like to forbid public displays of this magnificent symbol of Universal Love and Forgiveness!

Let us all pray for Peace on Earth, so one day we, as One Human Race, will be able to listen to healing substance of CD's like this one, without analyzing it's cover...

Soothing, entrancing healing music.......2003-07-19

Weave has produced an excellent disc of healing music, incorporating soothing, repetitive chord patterns and an angelic choral effect. The depth and flow of the music are very relaxing, excellent for helping a person relax the mind and open up to healing energy flow. The music, however, is so entrancing that it might not be suitable for listening in many situations where you can't allow yourself to be hypnotized or lulled into a deep state of relaxation. I see the use of the Reiki symbol on the album as appropriate, as the significance of the symbols has been distorted since the life of Usui. Symbols are not secret or the true source of Reiki power or energy, they are more accurately described as tools to help one attune to or resonate with energy - there are now many "new" Reiki styles with new symbols and opportunities for teaching and making more money. Since Reiki is universal life force, no training or symbols are necessary for everyone to access that energy, and those concerned with "protecting" the symbols are on a misguided quest. Weave has produced a soothing composition and shared it, along with a Reiki symbol and symbol meaning, with the world. I appreciate this contribution.
