I have bought almost a dozen of these CDs to share with people - I gave many of them for presents. What a way to find peace and happiness just listening to Cecilia - I either play it while I cook or during dinner - or just in mediation. Awesome!

Hauntingly beautiful celebration of the Goddess Spirit.......2007-05-09

I bought this CD in 1999 while trying to find another artist who's name I had missed but wanted the track. This was not the CD I was looking for (which I never did find!) but, nevertheless, still became one of my most precious and treasured CDs. This CD has shared the player with hard hitting Rock & Roll, Punk, Grunge and all sorts of genres but has always had a place because this woman's voice and delivery is just plain awesome and touches something so deep.

Sure it's a bit of a shock for the visitors if the player moves on from the Sex Pistols, The Cramps, Hole or Whitesnake or someone to Cecilia but if there was ever a voice that could be described a heavenly, I reckon this is it. Cecilia makes most Opera sound wooden and unemotional, disciplined without passion. Cecilia makes the legends of emotional and meaningful such as the blues legends or artists like Joan Baez sound more folky and less refined, just by comparison (and I could never say a bad word about Joan Baez or her music!).

It's only by finding this CD here on Amazon that I have actually found anything more out about Cecilia than was included in the liner notes all those years ago. There are now three certainties in life-1. Death, 2. Taxes and 3. I will own everything of Cecilia's I can lay my hands on. Unless she's lost anything since `Voice of the Feminine Spirit' both musically and lyrically she is spectacular!!

I currently own 3 of Cecelia's albums. Her voice brings pleasure to my ears. It is so clear and beautiful.

This Norwegian-born lady has a superb voice. It echoes to the heavens and beyond, piercing the Universe. This music is different than anything I've ever heard. It has definitive depth. You feel like you could walk on it, right into a cloud. (No, I'm not "on" anything.) I also heard of Cecilia from Dr. Wayne Dyer, an outstanding speaker and writer. The first time I heard "Amazing Grace," I cried like a baby. I mean, like, I had to pull off the road! Truly awesome! Probably the most beautiful thing I have EVER heard. Downright ethereal!

If you're into meditation, try meditating with this CD, especially #6 "Amazing Grace, Prayer to the Whales." The vibration is awesome. Bet it will really blow your mind!

i am not a fan of New Age music, but she has an amazing voice.
however, i say if you want MUSIC buy something by Evanescence.
there is no real music here, whatever her voice sounds like.

owling winds and animal cries appear from soundscapes of voices in this sophisticated and tribal feast of musical dreams. At times the music creates desolate landscapes and at other times you feel like you are in dense forests or angelic heavenly vistas.

Suddenly as if out of nowhere, we move from primal cries to a contrasting spiritual moment of Amazing Grace.

Everybody needs to have their spirit soar, now and again, and the track " Two swans in flight" does it for me. If more music were like this, the recording industry wouldn't have a problem! I totally recommend!

I consider myself fortunate,so very fortunate, as I have not only all of Cecilia's CD's ( Voice Of The Feminine Spirit,Violet 19 and Inner Harmony) , but I was also lucky enough,privileged enough to have met Cecilia in Sydney during the last 6 or 7 years at the Body,Mind and Spirit Festival at Darling Harbour.Like her music, her personality was extraordinary - soothing,gentle,sincere,uplifting and - in a good way DRAMATIC !
Whatever walk of life you may have travelled or whatever genre of music you may take preference to, Cecilia is a " must have " . Whether you have interest in New Age lifestyle(s), or you're of religious drawing or you simply want to relax and take the pleasure in total relaxation, Cecilia is exactly what the Doctor would order for you. If ascension into Heaven had a voice, it would be that of Cecilia's voice. Please, consider yourself that treat this week out of your pay cheque and order her music , her gift to this life. Honestly, you will not be disappointed, as it is truly out of this world !

Cecilia - Amazing Grace.......2001-09-20

I heard Cecilia's version of Amazing Grace after the World Trade Center tradgey. Our local radio station DJ played it on air and since that time it has been requested regularly during the day.
It is the most moving rendition of Amazing Grace I have ever heard. I have purchased several copies of her CD just to give to friends and family. I do not normally recommend music but this is a must have album for anyone.
