I would say that Enchantment fall into the doom/death metal category. The album reminds me of early Anathema's Crestfallen/Serenades albums. Melodic and heavy, some thrashy parts and aggressive drums.

Well, ignore the other review for "Dance the Marble Naked" as the person who posted it was referring to a different group. THIS Enchantment is a doom metal band. Paul's vocals would be the weak-link in my opinion, but overall this is a worthy addition to your doom metal collection.

Enchantment has the sound that will mesmerize you whether it is one of their love songs or the great disco beats. Few groups can boast that they have the voice quality in all ranges that Enchantment has. EJ Johnson's lead and Mickey Clanton's bass are the foundation that keep Enchantment one of the best vocal groups of all time. They remain together and just get better with time.
