5 out of 5 stars The opposite to Endtime and yet addictive .......2005-02-03

Supernatural Birth Machine; since the album tittle this is a stunning production, slow riffs were left behind after "Forrest of Equilibrium" for faster guitar sounds , heavy bass, and occssional sabath tunes such as in "stained glass horizon" with a "sabbath bloody sabbath" like ending, a few moments of Osbourne reminded type of vocals by Lee Dorrian, and in general an atmosphere very 70s, lyric topics are also kind of betwen funny and bizarre, as you can hear in tracks like "Urkos conquest" yes! about planet of the apes, "fireball demon" will also blow your mind, "suicide asteroid" is a blast, Cybertron 71 a distortion guitar introduction made in seconds is fascinating and Internal Countdown is the perfect begining for this journey , Supernatural Birth Machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 out of 5 stars Very good, slow, bludgening, Sabbethy metal.......2001-05-28

I don't claim to be an expert on Cathedral, since I only have 2 of their albums, but this is good metal CD in the style of Sabbath and Motorhead (very SLOW Motorhead!). The singer is as gravelly as Lemmy, sometimes it sounds like he needs to cough up a luggy to clear his throat, but he has enough range to carry the tunes. Very dense guitars and bass, with thudding drums that make you feel like you are slowly getting beat up by a heavyweight. Some of the lyrics are kind of cool if you're a fan of Planet of the Apes and the like. All in all, good, but not awesome.

5 out of 5 stars A big dissapointment.......1999-06-08

I loved "Carnival Bizzare" but I hate this album; released less than a year later, it seems to be made up of the rejects from the "Carnival Bizzare"-sessions.
