Great to have an album of live solos gathered together instead of the sometimes comparatively lifeless studio sessions! Just a comment on the review that said 'Zakir is referring to the time signature "6.5/4", what he really is saying is that its just 13/8. No need to make others think that its amazingly complex when its just a simple rhythm with a flashy name' ... this reviewer didn't know what he was talking about since some time signatures have always been classified that way in India. This is not a concoction of Zakir Hussain, and neither is it intended to make anything look complicated, it's just a different way of doing it, that's all.

i am a great fan of zakir hussain.and i know many friends who became his fan after listening to this album. zakir has an ability to entertain the audiance even while remaining "almost" classical.sometimes he even takes freedom from pure classicalness,but that also entertains the orthodox classical music ians.this album is a proof (it at all it is required!) that zakir is a god in anything that concerns with percussion music...

All you old school househeads and DJs will really appreciate this cd. Picture this: It's 4 am and the club has thinned out to the last 15 or 20 people and the the dj is playing some serious underground deep vibe music.... That's Bobby Konders.

        This disc may be a rare find, but it's not really worth the trouble of looking. Public Enemy's hits are here--and they are great--but what's the point of the remixes? (Okay, okay, I get it. People might be willing to spend more money for songs they already have, if they feel like they're also getting something new.) Artistically, they add nothing to the music or the message, and it becomes particularly annoying when nobodies like Pete Rock insert their weak raps into otherwise powerful numbers. I wonder how Terminator X, who made major contributions to PE's groundbreaking sound, feels about other DJs remixing his work? I give it three stars because the quality of the original work stands up despite the tampering and for the inclusion of their collaboration with Anthrax on a great version of "Bring tha Noise," which is the reason I bought this in the first place.
