About as head-bangingly vicious as their other 2-lp's-on one CD release 'See You In Hell/Second Attack'(see my review).Tracks that more than did it for me here were the ass-kicking "Break Out",the fret ripping "Metal Knifes" and their live version of the band's namesake "Crossfire".In fact,all but three cuts on this 2-fer-1 is recorded live.Sort of threw me for a loop.The 'Second Attack' portion features nine(9)scorching metal-in-your-face numbers that show EXACTLY what sort of mayhem this short-lived Belgian band was capable of.With cuts like "Second Attack","Starchild",their maxi-single "Sound Of War" and "Scream And Shout",one can almost 'feel' the intensity of their live performance.Which was recorded at the Shockwave Festival in Genk,Belgium on Oct.5,1985.Not sure if these guys have ever reunited.Might appeal to fans of Accept,Krokus,Angel Witch and possibly Armored Saint.A must-have.
