This recording is excellent prog rock! The first track is as intense as the band, Ruins, and then the power trio diversifies and touches in all different and precise hard prog (as well as some spacey prog) most proficiently. This recording satisfies my need for the hard driving fusion elements and is in keeping with the current prog rock/jazz scene. Very different band for Hugh Hopper, but Hugh always takes chances. This should pay off in my mind. Exquisite spin!
