It's been said so many times about Stef Burns, but it beckons to be repeated again...this guy plays as good as he wants!! "Swamp Tea" has so much depth, more so than other instrumental guitar records. Soul would be the key word here and versatile. Stef can play anything. If you're a guitar player, you will dig these performances...if not - buy it anyway, you can sing along with these instrumentals!!!

This album rocks. All of the songs have depth, soul and good style. Stef in my opinion is one of the Bay Area's best guitar players! His playing can influence anyone to pick up, or keep playing guitar. I love this album. "Swamp Tea" should be in everyone's CD collection.

      Mr. Burns can carry a song ! There are your fast rockers on this cd as you would expect (and he plays each with fire and passion!) but the lyrical pieces are heaven! This guy plays with some soul! He plays for the song by all means. The mix of songwriting and musicians work wonderfully together! The music is very accessible, but has that on the edge feel without going atonal or avant. He hits it right on and oh,................... WHAT A TONE! Fans of instrumental guitar will love this as I did . ENJOY
