This two disc set covers the highlights of the Hogs "classic" years with material from Blues Obituary, Thank Christ For The Bomb, Split,Who Will Save The World, and Hogwash. After hearing this you'll want to own all of those in their entirety, because there are more gems where these came from. The collection wisely skips the stright blues era Scatching The Surface LP from '68. The track selection is pretty good, my only complaints are that it should have been in chronological order because the band had a very linear progression in their music at this point,and there are no liner notes.
