A Very Good Single From An Amazing Album!.......2007-07-13

The song Hung Up is Madonna's first single from her amazing Confessions On A Dance Floor Album. The remixes are very good too. Here is a review of each remix.

Radio Version: Clock starts ticking then time goes by so slowly is repeated a few times. Then after the 1979 ABBA hit Gimme Gimme Gimme A Man After Midnight sound comes in. This is the edit version just like the original song except it is shorter. The original version is longer and better

SDP Extended Vocal: Starts of with sound of a phone hanging up and then you hear the sound of a busy signal. The busy signal is incorporated with the sound in the beginning and then you hear time goes by so slowly repeated several times and and each time it get's louder. Then you hear the ABBA music and then similar to what you would hear in the original version of the song. You hear the phone sound hanging up again and then the busy signal again the same as the similar to the beginning. A women at the end say's in a British accent "Please Hang Up And Try Again". This is an interesting remix and clever with the phone usuage.

Tracy Young's Get Up And Dance Groove Edit: Starts off with the drums, you hear Hung Up repeated several times then you hear the clock ticking again and you hear the lyrics in the original version of the song with some added beats. This has a midtempo dance to it. Next to the radio version this is the second shortest.

Bill Hamel Remix: This is heavy on the drums and a little repetitive. The lyrics do not start still after 2:00 minutes. The original lyrics beginn and there are different beats during the lyrics.

Chus & Ceballos Remix: This is the longest remix of the song. Starts heavily on the drums, a little electronica incorporated in it, then other beats come in. ABBA's sounds comes in during her singing time goes by so slowly then other beats come in. The ABBA sound comes in quite a few times in this remix. This is the most danceable remix of the song and ends great.

SDP Extended Dub: Beginns the same exact way as remix number 2. The Abba sounds is heavily incorporated for the majority of the remix. You hear the sound of the phone hanging up again and times go by so slowly is repeated and it ends the same way as remix 2.

I highly recommend this maxi single of Hung Up it is great and you won't be disappointed!

Madonna may be silly, but..........2007-04-17

Sometimes silly is just plain entertaining, and though it is completely pop, the album Hung Up provides a good listen and something that is entirely danceable, or chill-out-able, depending on your mood of the moment.

Possibly One Of The Best Dance Songs Of All Time!.......2007-03-30

Madonna created a masterpiece in terms of dance music. The song "Hung Up" is now a classic, and probably one of Madonna's all time greatest! The remixes are good. Not great, but good. It's tough to remix a song that's already awesome.

Outstanding dance music.......2007-03-19

I'm a house DJ (which covers actually a wide range of styles), and I happen to the think the SDP extended mix is quite brilliant. If you're looking for something to just listen to casually at home, don't look for an extended mix... these are usually (thank God) made for the purpose of blowing up a real life dancefloor. This is a track you can actually mix into a set, and for that purpose, I think it's damn near perfect. Actually, I think the production is, in general, some of the best I've heard in years, if not ever, and a LOT of music crosses my path. Very tough sounding, hard hitting house is very rarely to be expected from a major label, so I was taken aback when I first heard this. Choice. Bound to become a classic, I suspect. DJs, pick it up!

It's OK.......2007-03-11

Ok, this first track is a great one but that can't be said for all the tracks on this remix CD. The SDP extended versions are great to dance to, the other tracks I never heard in the clubs in The Netherlands before. They're kinda boring, they don't give you the energy to get up and dance to, like one mix suggests. But 3 out of 6, well 50% isn't too bad, that's why I've rated it with 3 stars.

this was a cool release for me. i'm all into the new track especially "just me". i wish "rest in piss" and "walking to my funeral" were on there. those are some classics for me. but i will be jamming this one until the next one drop.

If you didn't know, this is basically a Lynch Hits album. (Read the Product Description) If you're a fan of Lynch you know the songs. The three new traccs are real nice, especially "Goodnight". It sounds like an appetizer for "Dinner & a Movie". Not much else to say, just classic Lynch mixed with 3 new dope traccs. All the traccs are handpicked by Lynch, unlike "The Best of Lynch" which was put out by Black Market back in 2001.

And how about this...not a single cut from Season of da Siccness made it onto the Ripgut. Maybe Lynch figured we'd heard it enough already.

There really isn't a whole lot of good material on the DVD. The best part is a really well done music video for "Went From". It's the first music video from Lynch that I really thought they did a good job with.

Classic Lynch from "Nigga Deep" to "Lynch By Inch", some new songs thrown in, and a bonus disc. Gotta give the 5 stars on this one.

THIS IS TOTALLY EVIL!!!.......2007-03-24

This is an amazing horrorcore album but its incredibly repulsive. The flow is a great and nonstop and it sounds like exactly like Snoop Dogg only better. People overreact over this the only incredibly sicc songs are like the first 3 songs the rest is just hardcore gangsta rap with a little horrorcore lyrics. I once drove up to a church blastin this it was totally fun to see the reaction. I highly recommend it. Cop this if you think you can stomach a guy stickin a pistol in his girls you know what and shooting the baby in her womb and blowing her groin all over the room.
I mean it gets really really evil. Nothing hs ever been made like this or ever will.

Ok, First all ever body keep's on saying this is Lynche's best album well, I kinda agree and dont agree....I think if your looking for more, his lyrcially album and, siccer lyrics then this is it.....But however loaded was a amazing, follow up most rappers could never follow, up such a good album by there second release but lynch does... Loaded has more a weried bizzar sound to it, it has hard g-funk beats but without all, that whistling synthersizer and whinig keyboards...But season has that more g-funk beat that do have, the whistling synthersizers and keybords kinda, like dre chronic and like a spice 1 album...
Also loaded has alot of guest apperances like- ice-t, cos,p folk's, first degree the d.e. all over the cd, loki etc...the list goes on. So the point I'm making season, and loaded are about equal to me, there productio is justa lot different, but lyricially lynche's lrics are sicc and strange, but season maybe a little rawer... Best songs- sicc made, rest in piss, return of da baby, liquor sicc, season od da sicc, welcome to your own death..Also Lynch by inch tigh as well not as good as his first two but still sicc with it...Siccmade records!!!!

this is a pretty good album but i dont understand why people are sellin this for 30 dollars an higher its not even rare an its not even a classic i just saw it at a couple cd stores in my area sellin for like 17 ,18 dollars any one who buys it for 30 dollars is stupid an if ur cd store dont have it in stock they can order it for u for like 18 dollars dont buy these its a rip off!!

Depending on your sense of humor, William Hung's 15 minutes of fame on one 2004 episode of American Idol were either a joke or the high point of the show's season. Tone-deaf, karaoke-trained, and a far cry from the series' polished and trendy wannabe pop stars, Hung was booted halfway through his classic cover of Ricky Martin's "She Bangs." Inspiration, his first (and possibly last) CD, gives his legion of fans a chance to hear him in his entirety. Basically, it's Hung with karaoke background music, warbling through classics such as "Hotel California," "Rocket Man," and "Y.M.C.A." A few "inspirational thought" tracks are interspersed between the songs, giving you insight into the UC Berkeley student's self-confidence and enthusiasm. A bonus DVD even contains new footage and interviews of Hung in action. There are plenty of classic, imaginative novelty records out there--consider the Shaggs, Lucia Pamela, and Mrs. Miller--but this isn't one of them. LISTEN UP PEOPLE!!.......2006-07-10

I LOVE THIS CD and I would give it 20 stars if I got the chance, and, no I do not have a fever today! I know just how weird you people think I am, and I'll admit this: William Hung is one of the worst singers alive! BUT... I like this CD for the following reasons:
1. William Hung did his best on American Idol, you gotta give him that.
2. Some of these songs are SO funny... Oh, I could laugh for hours! :)
3. Surprisingly, a few of the songs are actually O.K.

Yes, this is a KID'S review, but I'm smart, don't underestimate me! First, a lot of the songs on this CD are pretty funny, depending on your sense of humor. (I, personally think that "Rocket Man" is kinda funny.) But, surprisingly, a few of them are actually pretty good. I enjoy "She Bang" and "Shake Your Bon-Bon". Also, try to cut William Hung a little slack. He went on American Idol, tried his best, and now he has his own CD. Come on, you have to admire that determination! So, if you want a few good songs (and maybe a good laugh here or there), buy this CD!

O.K. This album is pretty funny. But I like it. I don't like it because the songs are wonderful. (They mostly aren't.) I like it because I think William Hung, in a way, is an inspiration. Just because the American Idol judges said no, he didn't give up his dreams of becoming a singer, and look at where he is now! Bottom line: WILLIAM HUNG ENJOYS SINGING. Some of the songs on the CD are actually pretty catchy. So I say, give this CD a try!

Yes, I do agree that there is a large quantity of people that view William Hung as an absolute joke. But there are those who sincerely, genuinely were inspired by his American Idol performance and his relentless motivation. Ever since he uttered the words "I did my best, i have no regrets" I was absolutely intrigued by William Hung. I mean, such confidence in oneself is so rare, so venerable..I can't imagine ever being so sure of myself, and I am certain that few of you reading this have rarely been as confident as him. I don't look at William Hung the same way I would regard Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, I see him as a common person, with a normal voice with a spectacular sense of who he is. Say anything you want to him, he won't take it to heart...he is so self assured that he won't be brought down by people's disparaging remarks...How many people would like to feel like that? I mean truly feel like that? Many of you I assume....People should stop judging the quality of his voice and notice his strenghth as a person.

So i purchased his C.d....and ever since listening to his first track, i began to feel inspired. And on top of that....i truly feel that his voice is not that bad..its actually kind of catchy and it has flair, personality and a lot of warmth and determination...... and as he strains to reach the high notes, i can just imagine his squinting eyes and the tense muscles of his face while he stands on his tippy toes...and with a little bit of voice training, he could actually have a pretty decent voice. Actually, i truly like his renditions of "rocket man" and "free" better than the originals.

Whether you like Hung's music/voice or not, please do not disregard his strength as a person and what an inspiration he has been to people like me, not by preaching but by being an example.

Next time you feel dismayed about something in your life, just remember Hung's words "I did my best, i have no regrets at all"

This is not only one of the best rap albums of all time. It's one of the best albums of all time, period. I am not sure how you people not from Sacramento know who Lynch is but, it's about time he got some love. I've been listening to Lynch spit his lyrical genius since '93 and, I still haven't heard anyone else as talented all these years later. Buy this Album or "You will Die".

Increbible Originality...Takes you somewhwere else.......2003-08-06

If i had to describe this album is one word...i couldn't. It's dark, twisted, and seems to engulf you in a story as teh album progresses. The tracks blend together perfectly, something i have never heard on any album before.

Lynch is probably the most complex dude in the game today, and after listening to this CD you will know why. People will say "Season of the Siccness" is his best work, but if you want to see Lynch at the most creative point in his career, pick up "Loaded"

Definitely a definitive must for any hip hop/rap fan. Brotha Lynch Hung is my favorite artist of all-time, and his along with Season of the Siccness are his two best albums. I can not stress enough how important this cd is in my collection. I will only take time out of my day to write recommendations for 3 albums, and this is one of them. A unique beat choice and classic appearances by Lynch's crew. MUST HAVE!

Amazon needs a "No Stars" rating.........2007-08-01

Ok, people looking at this CD, or anything else William Hung has released, fall into 2 categories. The ones who think it's total crap, and the ones who somehow think it's a joke. It is a joke. It is a joke on anyone who buys the CD.

People, the record label saw Hung, saw people support him, and thought to themselves "Wow. We can make a load of money by giving him a CD and conning people into buying it." There's no intentional humor, there's no fad or collector quality to it at all. It's blatant commercialism. William Hung should be ashamed of himself for this. The record label should be ashamed of themselves for not giving some other "Idol" hopeful who has talent a record contract.

Bottom line, you wouldn't hire a plumber who didn't know what he was doing, so why facilitate the career of a singer who can't sing? Why put money in the pockets of record executives who have no respect for you?

I really like William Hung's music! I do admit, however, that some of his songs are just plain funny! But maybe William thinks so too. Or maybe not. You can't be sure. Anyway, I loved "Inspiration". I listen to it AT LEAST once a day. (And that says something, because I have a busy schedule!!) I listened to samples, and read up on this CD, and I think I'll buy it! The songs are either beautiful or funny, (take your pick). But this CD does fall SLIGHTLY short of "Inspiration". But, anyhow, I have a bone to pick with you mean reviewers! First of all, if you don't like this CD, you either don't have ears, or you don't have a sense of humor, depending on which way you see this CD. Second, a lot of you didn't even LISTEN to the CD, and are just ASSUMING that it was bad. Now is THAT a way to be?! Third, if you DID listen to this CD and didn't like it, you are entitled to your opinion, but don't you have better things to do than criticize someone who has done NOTHING wrong to you. (And making music you don't like is NOT wrong!) So, please, LIGHTEN UP!!!! (:

I have been enjoying this album for a while now, never disappointed. The hardest track is Red Rum: Lynch and Calico kill that track ! I haven't heard lynch come that hard since Corpse Came 2 Dinner on the Now Eat soundtrack.

Lynch and CO get real emotional on this album: it takes a few listens to absorb the depth of their themes. I waited a long time for this album to release, and it was worth the wait. Not like any other album Siccmade released prior.. This album plays hard wet and tight, and reminds me why I am a fan. Siccmade til I die ! ! !

in my opinion lynch does a good job on this one. this is better then uthanism. i am a big lynch fans and the beats and the lyrics are great. my fav songs.. 2,3,6,8,9,10 < < chill to smoke to,11, and 12. peep this out. i dont know what the other reviews are about, this lynch is dope!

Now Eat: The Album wasn't really remnant of the movie because it didn't have the feel that the movie did. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, either, because I liked the movie but I expected something else from Brotha Lynch Hung when he did a movie on his cannibalistic flow. When he rhymes, he doesn't have a conscience and he doesn't present himself as anything more than cold-blooded. The movie made that more of a comedy, turning it into something that was low-budgetly funny but that didn't give the audience the feel that Brotha Lynch brings. I honestly expected something colder, bloodier, and a little more baby-eating when I bought it, and I was glad to find that the soundtrack at least brought that.

The high points:

The album starts out with The Corpse Came to Dinner, and that's possibly one of my favorite songs by Lynch. Brotha Lynch is the main reason to haunt oldschool Siccmade anyhow, because he comes in ways that would shock even the hardest of those mainstream gangstas. In this hit Lynch is on top of his game, not wasting time beating on his chest and saying how much of a pimp he is or bragging about his money. He instead portrays a version of him that's violent, cannibalistic, and that paints a picture of something colder than cold. Not only does it have a beat that keeps going and going to depths that gangsta should go, but it displays what I expect him to do on a wider scale. Killing and eating humans, carrying out people in ziplock bags, eating everything but the head, and playing games with spinal cords; that's the stuff that made me buy every album he's ever touched. It's to Siccmade music what Mozart is to classical.

In The Tuck, with Nit the Pit, is also a pretty nice beat combining with some cold lyrical content. I actually like the flow in the performance, and I like the fact that he's hardcore a lot more. I'm personally a fan of professional murder music, with screwdrivers and eyes coming in contact with one another, and this seems like a theme song for killing. "In the tuck is where I stashed his body." It songs like love to me.

F a Struggle, by Cos, is a pretty catchy ballad that seems to imply that killing people can become a way of life. It has an energetic beat that is infectious, a hook that I find myself humming sometimes when in mixed company, and it also has the tastes that my mind enjoys. Cos actually has a strong flow and he seems to enjoy stuffing people in dufflebags and making bloodbubbles. And, honestly, that's what I want to hear.

Zagg is one of those rarities that you find in gangsta/horrorcore rap. I've honestly only heard a few rappers that bring it violently enough to sate me, and fewer still get it right when they try to deliver. And the female performers keeping it that way, well, they could possibly be counted on one hand - if that. This song is a little more serious than I normally like and not as violent as some of her other work, however, but its still pretty good. She still gets into digging six feet holes and "coming in blazin," so it works for me.

And Deep, by Halfbreed, also has a pretty tight beat and I personally like his style when he rhymes. His voice melds with the melodic flow of the beat, making it something you can bob your head to while violently thinking subplots. To me, that's an important quality.

Besides what I've mentioned, the album also has 14 other songs to be listened to, and quite a few of them settle with me pretty well. E-Moe, D-Dubb, Doomsday, T Nutty, Balance, First Degree the D.E., Young Droop, Hollowtip, Dubb-Sak; that's some of the people showing up. The only thing I didn't like is that the best song in the movie, the one including Lynch's brother Sicx, isn't on this album. You actually have to go out and buy Nigga Deep (not that buying that album isn't a GREAT investment of time) to get that and I was more than a little disappointed when I initially found that it wasn't here. That said, the album works well, allowing you to sample a lot of what Siccmade does and how they bring it. I personally enjoyed it and picked up a few Siccmade performers that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise because they showcased their skills here.

Tha corpse came to dinner,( lynch ), Be my pleasure, ( First Degree the D.E. ), Deep other wise known as "don't get caught up", ( halfbreed ) are tha only dope songs I'm really feelin. Why??? Cuz iz horrorcore...F*ck tha gangsta style...Horrorcore lyrics from lynch is where its at! Anyone can rap gangsta? plus gangsta rap is dead! Keep up tha siccness! F*ck tha bulls*it! 3 stars for 3 dope songs!

One of the Best Sacrameto Albums out.......2003-03-27

This album is a overall superb compilation of many tight Sacramento rappers in the game. T-nutty, Lynch, First Degree, COS, Loki, Zagg, Dubb Sak, E-moe Hollow Tip. It also has YGD and Doomsday so you know it's hard. Ever track is tight except Court Dogg Goin' Ball and Last Call. My favorite track is T-nutty's and Lynch's, oh yeah and Doomsday's oh yeah main and Zagg'z. This is one of my favorite Sac albums to date along wit Season of Da Siccness and X-raided's The Xorcist, now you know that's hard, X-locc straight rappin from the county!
