I think that the best things in the album are: FIRST: A great atmosphere. I like bands who know how to create an atmosphere of the music they play. i think it's fair to say that isegrim can be compared in quality of atmosphere to "Mystic circle" or "Cradle of filth", who are pretty good at this. THE SECOND THING IS: is, A great combination between the two voices. not much to explain. the high and low voices just come good together and improve one another. the high one is moving between Throne of Ahaz and Eucharist while the low voice is close to the Demoncy vocalist.
Some other good and bad things: Nice use of the drum machine, giving the songs a nice fast temo rythem. The guitars are not brilliant, but at least they're noticealbe unlike alot lousy black metal where the drum machine is above all. Not really the original peice of work, but not alot in black metal is.
