I thought this album would be much better ,but it still has some kick ass death metal tracks on it. Bloodfreak was my favorite track from the album. Overall album rating has to be a 3 and a half.

WARNING! NOT THE REAL BAND!.......2002-04-28

I was very disappointed to know that there is another band out there which is "ripping-off" the original band's name. There is not one person here from the original band. In fact this is a totally different group! This is not the same "the Unsane" as the one which put out "Inverted Crosses" in 1987 or "Slap Of Reality."

This is definately a cool metal cd. It has elements of old school death metal and the new swedish thing that has been going on for some time now. With members from both Entombed and Dismember this is a cd that you can't go wrong with. Check this out and you won't regret it.

This is a pretty good CD. The band is made up of members from Entombed & Dismember, & the sound is something in between the 2. This was a great CD that I could just sit around & chill to while drinking a few beers. My favs on here are "Slowly Burnt to Death," "Unsane...," and "Sent Home in a Box." This album not quite as fast as some death metal, in fact the title song is kinda slow & sludgy, but its still cool as $hit. It's even got a bong hit solo in it (420 FOREVER!!!)! But this is definitly one of those times where it sounds great JUST the way it is... If you like this CD, I recommend Entombed "Left Hand Path" &/or "Clandestine," and Dismember "Indecent & Obscene/Peices" &/or "Like an Everflowing Stream." this is pretty much a death metal version of superjoint ritual-good,yet leaving somthing to be desired.it's solid stuff- better than most the regurgitated,crappy death metal that's out n about these days and worth a look.

Autopsy faithfully remembered!.......2004-01-24

This is a must have for anyone who likes swedish death metal. It is especially enjoyable to anyone who is a fan of Autopsy. Yes, Autopsy, the greatest death metal band ever (sorry, but your wrong if you think differently).

Now this album is wonderful, but it really should have been subtitled "An Autopsy Medly," because nearly every single riff is taken from old Autopsy songs. For example, the opening track has two riffs from Severed Survival and the opening riff off Mental Funeral. But don't get me wrong; they are in no way stealing those rifts because the whole intent of the album, and the band itself from what I understand, is as a tribute to Autopsy. And a fine tribute it is! The best part of this album is it really helps to show the extent of Autopsy's influence on Dismember and Entombed. (I put Dismember before Entombed because while they may not be quite as popular, the are much superior.)

Anyway, if you are a fan of Dismember, Entombed, or good ole' Autopsy, do yourself a favor and buy this. (If you haven't, then for Christ's sake, buy Severed Survival by Autopsy and either Death Metal or Hate Campaign by Dismember, and enjoy!)

Scarier Than Sabbath.......2003-01-30

There's more doom and gloom here than Black Sabbath! The recording is awesome! Evil sounding through and through! You can definetely sense Dismember here. If you like Entombed and Dismember, you MUST get this...
