Better than I remembered...........2006-12-13

I recently bought this CD again because I missed having certain songs on the album, but to my surprise I discovered that I really liked a lot more songs than I had before. I would say that this album contains a combination of the AWESOME 'Masquerade in Blood' mixed with the OK 'Get What You Deserve.' And even though 'Get What....' was just OK, don't fear, this album is a lot better!! Stand out tracks are "Frozen Screams", "No Way Out", "Suicidal Justice", "Schwerter Zu Pflugscharen", "Sow the Seeds of Discord", & "Wander in the Valley."

Better than their "middle period"........2000-08-20

SODOM are a classic German thrash/ death metal band that's been an enormous influence since the early '80s. Their earliest releases were raw, early death metal and they really hit their stride with PERSECUTION MANIA and AGENT ORANGE. At this point, they were more of a heavy MOTORHEAD-influenced thrash metal. Their subsequent albums were really sub-par to the point of being boring and unlistenable. This album is only the beginning of their return to greatness as evidenced by the awesome CODE RED. 'TIL DEATH DO US UNITE is a return to the MOTORHEADish style of thrash and is certainly better than their last few releases.
