5 out of 5 stars Very Cool.......2005-04-22

This is a great album from the the New wave of British Heavy Metal era, alsting from '79-81. Though this band showed a lot of promise like many of their peers, they never got recognized like they should.

But enough of that. This album is quite heavy and extremely fast, especially "heaven lies aboe" and "at least they tried." My favorite song on the album is "Paradise" and "Vicious Bastards' but they're all pretty much good. If you are a fan of Black Sabbath, Motorhead, or any band from that time period, I strongly recommend you buy this album, it's worth it!

MYTHRA one of the very early NWOBHM bands, got signd in 1979 releaced a very succesful single, recorded an album - without releacing it - then suddenly disappeared in 1980 !
This CD "Death & Destiny LP" is all they recorded in their very short career from 4 songs of the single & the rest I guess is the album songs.
It contains 13 tracks carfully remastred to obtain the best sound, it kicks off with a fast in your face "Motorhead" style song "Paradise", then moves to the excellant "England" and "Wrrior of Time".
The other fast songs are quit boring and straight forward, but when we come to the ballad "Death of a Loved One" we can hear the real profecionallity of the band.
"Age of Machine" is another slow song - predecting what's gonna happen in the futur - is again fantastic moving from really melodic to very agrasive.
In the end this CD is recomended to all old school metal fans so, they can rediscover thoes gloriuos years of the early eghities.

This CD is really worth buyng for it is highly collectable.
