        Ah them were the days.......the revival of hardcore. New York seemed to produce (and disband) a band a minute, straight edge was at it's peak (before it moved off into veganism, Buddhism and even vegan Islam) and a new revival of concious thinking began to take place.

        While bands such as Youth of Today, Go!, Lifes Blood and (to some extent) Sticks and Stones and others are still remembered for some reason, this band has been largely overlooked.

        Grouped in with the straight edge movement maybe too many thought they were too generic (Similar to the way Insted, Carry Nation and Turning Point got ignored) Shame realy as Majority of One were one of the best hardcore bands around.

        Topical lyrics (they supported the SHARP movement) with a straight edge vibe. Musically, they started out with the typical fast paced hardcore moving on to a more melodic direction (similar in some ways to Sticks and Stones)

        If you like Token Entry, Life's Blood, Sticks and Stones, GO! you will like this (especially as its a comp of their 1st LP released in the UK and now out of print and a bunch of other out of print LPs and 7"s)
