Knox Boys.......2004-04-15

In 1986 or so, Hard Knox blasted onto the Nashville rock music scene. Their sassy, in your face, straddling the bass around the ankles, big drum, soaring vocals, and statigic guitar licks progress through power rock with a mission. They had an edge and a groove much like their influences; Motley, Kiss and Dio. For you Zoid fans, "Getaway" will be a favorite. Their take on 80's rock was much overlooked. If you can get a copy, pick this badboy up.

THE Best Band out of Knoxville...........2004-02-15

I have to disagree with you, there....Hard Knox, was nothing compared to the Knoxville band, SAGE....Hard Knox was a band I remember coming to perform at my high school auditorium....SAGE was a band I saw performing as the opening act for Bon Jovi, Bad Company, Steppenwolf, The Four Horseman, and Peter Frampton....THE best band out of Knoxville during the 80's and 90's was SAGE. Hard Knox couldn't even compare..........

Great 1980s Hair Metal CD!.......2003-04-30

This was THE best band to come out of Tennessee in the mid 80s, however, they actually broke up in 1989, not 1999 like the editorial review states. This CD was released originally as a 7-Song EP called "Mark of the Rocker" and received alot of airplay in Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas. It also has 5 great demo tracks that were added to this release that the band had originally recorded for MCA records when they were negotiating a deal with that label. Overall, it's a great CD and a bit of nostalgia for anyone who lived in the middle Tennessee area in the 80s. It's definitely worth adding to your 80s Hair Metal CD collection.
