Since his 1989 solo debut Wild Obsession and no later than the 1991 breakthrough, Nasty Reputation, Axel Rudi Pell has been a firm fixture in the German Melodic Hard Rock scene. In the musical microcosm Axel has always had everything in its traditional place, all the while still moving it forward continuously. After a long string of critically acclaimed albums throughout the 90s and into the new millennium, Axel Rudi Pell shows his softer side once again. Riding on the success of The Ballads I + II, Steamhammer Records brings you The Ballads III. This is not only a compilation of his best and most recent ballads, it also includes 3 newly recorded tracks, including an acoustic version of the sleeper hit Forever Angel and a cover of the Rainbow classic The Temple Of The King.

Axel does it agian !!! I always have to laugh when I hear the ballads because they always sound similar and his words are leaving me crying from laughter every time I hear them. Most entertaining!!

Forever Young's forever song.......2004-08-06

I bought this cd couple years ago just for the 'Forever Young'. It's very nice listening to this song, good vocal and very nice guitar technic (simple but 'rich'). I found other songs and they're nice too: Dream of Passion, Your Life, etc. I have 'Forever Young' by Alphaville and both of them are my favorite.
