Let's All Do The KLYSTER BOOGIE, hold it, are you a MEMBER ?.......2005-09-20

First thing's first...'KLYSTER BOOGIE.....YEY...THAT'S MY FAVOURITE DANCE YEAH..." That is what you should expect to hear on this outstandingly Bizarre album. This is Pungent Stench's pinnacle album, infact it's the only release of theirs which I found to be ground-breaking. How is it ground-breaking you might ask ? Well simply because it is a simple sadistic excercise in death metal, actually this is such a sick album I'd say it belongs in QUARANTINE. Ok boys clean those testies, let's see some clean heads. Ladies wash your underwear, and your leather whips and costumes. This is such a sadistically dirty release that it should almost be banned. This is filthy, but I love it. Great use of words and instruments, and not to mention the sound effects. This is no epic tale, this is a gross tale, very real yet unreal. Excellent title for the album too 'Club Mondo Bizarre: FOR MEMBERS ONLY. I actually have this on cassette, not cd, and the cover is different than both cd releases. Plus the photos inside are pure sadistic art. If you like death metal and don't mind opening the door to a bondage chamber, then this is a must. The closest any death/black metal band has ever come(that is surely the right word here)to this is IMPALED NAZARENE with their album Latex Cult, but that is still nothing compared to this filthy excercise(or should I say sexersize). Thie vocalist sounds like a real madman with a sadistic perception in any situation. Even though the vocals are in a death metal style, it is very easy to understand every word(well maybe a couple of words are a bit blurry, but hey atleast it's not Cannibal Corpse). No lyrics sheet needed, I guarantee.

Pungent Stench are 1 of those bands that you dont forget and this cd Club Mondo Bizarre i think is their best.From the cd a fantastic collection of cool photos in there as for the music my favorite is Im a Family Man but every track is good a must for any true metalhead ive had this one for over 10 years now.

What a shame these guys called it quits......and after such a brilliant album. This is one of those albums you just don't get sick of hearing. Very groove oriented with that funky sound. Much different than their previous grindcore albums, and much better. Whereas they used to lag far behind the likes of Napalm Death or Carcass where Grindcore is concerned, they have now moved up the ranks by putting out one of the most unique death metal albums of all time (if you would call it death metal.) The lyrics are explicit and hilarious, as are the photos. The music slams in a Black Sabbath meets Led Zepplin meets Sepultura meets Obituary mosh pit........very hard too describe. Kinda like bluesy death metal with Cavalera-esque vocals, though much deathier. Well, done my best to describe a killer album......Do yourself a favor....pick it up, you won't be sorry.
