Customer Reviews:
best crisis album.......2007-04-02
I'm first going to say that crisis is an aquired taste...much like coffee or beer...they aren't for the rookie at heart so to speak and they have such a unique and hard hitting style, that being said
I'm a huge crisis fan and maybe it's because I usually really appreciate the first serious efforts bands put out or just because this cd is really their best one. Don't get me wrong, all of their cds are great but this one has there goes my soul and gemini...
3 stars, only because the other Crisis releases are so good.......2007-03-23
8 Convulsions is a good record, don't let my 3 stars fool you. However, in comparison to The Hollowing, this record isn't as good. The song writing is much less evolved and the recording is of lesser quality.
7 convulsions and a tremor.......2005-07-20
Here we have one of few perfect bands preparing to consume your pathetic souls, though the album has merely one weak point the song sweething (unless you are a human "girl" ... sorry Karyn, but come on now.) I understand she's been harassed by many idiots but anyway the rest of this album is so perfect that it's hard to conceive a "human" pulling off anything like this. The very first song will stir up every emotion and rip your heart from your chest!! Gemini is the real "sweething" of the album, all of this material besides the obvious is completely groundbreaking and even the greatest bands have at least one track that falls short which is why this album still deserves a perfect reveiw and this band deserves much more attention, but on a planet full of weak minded people with no capacity for any kind of emotion it really doesn't surprize me that CRISIS isn't looked upon with the same interest as "Slipknot" so buy ALL the CRISIS albums or " Remain a vagrant on the sidewalk of life!"
