5 out of 5 stars Peter and the Wolf Howls!!!!.......2007-07-28

My boys, 4.5 and 2, absolutely loved and were captivated by this rendition of the Peter and the Wolf. The 2 year simply enjoyed the music, but my 4.5 year old was very excited to know that a French Horn was the wolf and according to him, "how the wolf eats the duck". When certain instruments played, he learned that certain characters in the story were going to be involved. Highly recommend it and its a great way to spend time with your kids, listening to classical music and picking out the different instruments.

4 out of 5 stars Great telling of a classic story as a classical music introduction.......2007-01-04

I remember being introduced to the idea of classical music telling a story with Peter and the Wolf many, many years ago. As each character in the story appears, its theme (and the instrument playing it) is introduced. Then the story takes over and builds to its climax and resolution with just the right amount of fright and humor for 2-4 year-olds.

Peter is clearly presented as a child who is disobedient and mildly punished for it, but then he is also brave and resourceful in fixing the situation he has caused. Finally is also merciful to the wolf (although he does put the wolf in a zoo, if that really bothers you). So the story has some subtle hints at morality without it being too oppressive.

In this CD version, the narration is clear and the pacing seems very adequate for even 2 year-old's attention. They often ask to hear it again, and they love the picture book I bought to go with it - see another review. They know all the instruments names, and can identify the characters just from hearing the music.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent for kids and adults.......2006-11-04

A very good version of the original. Bowie's voice is just right and the orchestra is right on. Excellent to demonstrate to kids the different instruments in a orchestra and a good story as well. I listened to it when I was young and also now when I am old. It still is great to listen to the music and the story telling.

4 out of 5 stars Dont have this CD but have the vinyl.......2004-05-26

I admit I do not have this CD, but I do have the vinyl version of this album. It contains just the first two pieces, Peter and Britten's Young Person's Guide... It was released by Columnbia on green translucent vinyl! Combine that with the Red Label that Columbia used and it is quite the colorful Album... I remember that I bought the album for the Britten, big Britten fan here, and partially the novelty of Bowie narrating Peter. The Britten is great, and Peter is very good with the beauty of the Philly strings, which has always been Philly's strong point. If I were looking to replace my vinyl copy, which I am not, I would not hesitate to get this disk.

5 out of 5 stars My son's discovery of classical music.......2003-05-17

My son's growing obsession with this story has truly sprouted since the purchase of this album.
Oddly enough, I never really knew this story or I don't remember it from my childhood, but once my dear sweet boy discovered it's haunting and charging sound, it's become a staple in my vehicle.

A perfect way to introduce classical music to any child -- tell them a story and have all the parts of the story be different instruments from an orchestra. Beautiful, just beautiful..

5 out of 5 stars What an incredible debut EP!.......2007-05-11

Alex Church, the lead singer and founder of Sea Wolf, was a founding member of my favorite band, Irving. His songwriting skills are amazing, and this EP, Get to the River Before It Runs Too Low, showcases his ability to write beautiful and engaging songs perfectly. My personal favorite is You're a Wolf, but every song he writes finds a way to burrow into my subconscious. While I lament the fact that he is no longer with Irving, I rejoice in the beauty that is Sea Wolf and am so thankful he is still bringing new songs into the world. I can't wait for the full album that will be released this year! In the meanwhile, I'm so excited to see Sea Wolf play live - they blew me away when I saw them play the noise pop festival.

Album Description

This triple-Grammy winning group of consummate musicians and songwriters out of East L.A. began their career interpreting Mexican folk music and went on to be a globally renowned purvayor of a diverse and adventurous repertoire of roots-flavored masterpieces. Drawing from rock, country, blues, folk, R&B, Americana, and traditional Spanish and Latin American idioms, Los Lobos continually pushed the boundaries of their sound, while remaining magnificently gritty and graceful throughout.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars The Definitive Collection????.......2007-04-08

Where does one start with the Los Lobos catalogue? There have been three Los Lobos "Best Of's" (a 4 disc set, a 2 disc set and this single disc) and, although they all give a fair overview of the band, I would suggest that if you are hard-core Los Lobos fan you probably own most of this material already. Los Lobos have been releasing albums now for 30 years and have gone through a number of stylistic changes in this time. They started off as a traditional Mexican music band and have moved through country, blues, atmospheric groove, rock, rock and roll, R&B and pop. What has distinguished them throughout has been superb musicianship, songwriting, lyrics and vocals and an unbending desire to release albums that satisfied the band before a record company. All this has led to many vastly different albums some of which may alienate the casual listener. For example, compare "Will The Wolf Survive" with "KIKO", "La Pistola y el Corazon" with "Colossal Head" or "Papa's Dream" (a superb children's album) with "The Town and the City" and you will see the diversity of the band. This all leads to the difficulty in compiling a definitive "best of" collection for the casual listener. One may love the traditional Mexican stuff but not the hard-core, groove based material or visa versa. Wolf Tracks does a reasonable job of condensing the Los Lobos catalogue into a one disc overview and, as such, is a pretty good place to start. If you like all the music here then I urge you to go get as many albums as you can. However if you like the more accessible material, start with "Will the Wolf Survive" and "By the Light of the Moon" then move forward with care. If you like the rock material, you can't get any better than "The Town and the City" and the previous album, "The Ride". If you like the groove based material, go for "KIKO" and move on from there, including the Latin Playboys albums. Los Lobos have been releasing some of the best American/Mexican roots music available for nye on 30 years and the journey, from start to now, has been exhilirating, if frustrating at times. "Wolf Tracks" is as good a place to start as anywhere and if you do decide to go the journey you will be richly rewarded with some of the finest roots music of the last 30 years.

3 out of 5 stars Good memories.......2007-04-04

Really good music, but also get their new stuff. It's so much better.

5 out of 5 stars Happiness.......2006-11-10

I had a Los Lobos cassette awhile ago and I misplaced it, so when I saw this disc on Amazon I thought I'd order it to replace it! Boy did I forget how happy their music made me feel! Great music and service, I received my delivery promptly and without any hitch,AND in perfect condition...Thank You all for making this Grandma smile

5 out of 5 stars Nothing like a retrospective..........2006-09-13

to help us see just how good these guys are. Makes the miles fly away. What better recommendation can there be?

5 out of 5 stars In the movie "Eating Raoul"...........2006-09-01

a Los Lobos song is heard on the soundtrack as Paul Bartel is chasing Robert Beltran in his old beat-up car. It is a great Mexican version of "Devil With A Blue Dress On". I wish that was on here as a bonus track. Still, this is a pretty good "best of" album because the first 75% of it is from their early period. There are only one or two tracks from the horrendous "Kiko", "Neighborhood", and "This Time" albums, but they are the better tracks. My copy of the cd has a bonus unreleased track from the "Neighborhood" sessions called "Border Girl". Yeah, I know you Los Lobos freaks will say that "Kiko" is their best album, but you have no idea what you are talking about. 99% of the world is blinkered and stupid and you twirps are right in there with the rest of the rabble.

This cd is all you need of Los Lobos. I mean, your brain is cluttered up with confusion already...so why clutter your house with too many Los Lobos cds as well when you can buy "Throw That Beat In The Garbage Can" cds from Amazon marketplace sellers for 5 bucks.

If you don't have any Los Lobos stuff, buy this now!... and pick up "The Monkees Anthology" while you are here. Better still, don't worry about Los Lobos and buy "The Best of YELLO" because Boris Blank has a better haircut than David Hidalgo (who is no stranger to the buffet line, I might add). Go on a diet, David.

Denis Leary's firefighter series, Rescue Me, is characterized by its delicate balance of brawn and sentiment. This CD, which collects tunes that have appeared in the first three seasons, reflects that balance, careening from the full-on rock & roll of the Von Bondies (their "C'mon C'mon" is the show's theme) and the Subways ("Oh Yeah") to the pensive, rootsy vibe of Ray Lamontagne ("All the Wild Horses") and the Devlins ("Love Is Blindness"). In his informative liner notes, Leary (who coproduces and cowrites the show in addition to starring in it) explains how he and his crew pick the songs they use. He doesn't really talk about how the songs reflect the show's take on masculinity, but the selections speak for themselves: There may be wives, girlfriends, or daughters, but Rescue Me is essentially about men. Which is perfectly fine, though it may explain why those who like to hear female voices once in a while (the Subways' bassist, Charlotte Cooper, does pipe up) are advised to look elsewhere (at one of the L Word soundtracks maybe?). --Elisabeth Vincentelli

Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Not What I Expected.......2007-07-19

I love the television series RESCUE ME, and I thought this would be the type of mellow, melancholy music heard at the closing of episodes. Instead it was mostly hard rock, and not so pleasing. I gave my copy away.

3 out of 5 stars Doesn't rock.......2007-03-09

Outside of the main title (C'mon, C'mon), this CD is nothing but slow whiny depressing stuff. Was expecting a little more aggressive music. Oh, well, guess that's why IPODs sell great.

5 out of 5 stars Great Mix of Tunes.......2007-01-05

Loved the TV series and always made notes of the music. Now the soundtrack is
out with a superb choice of songs. It's in my car; great traveling music!

4 out of 5 stars Overall, pretty good........2007-01-03

I gotta say, just about every song on this CD is catchy. I loved hearing most of these songs on the show, but getting to hear them in their full length is even better. Whoever picked these tracks has a good ear for what fits with the mood of the show. That said, this is one of those CDs that's good to pick up and play now and again, but can get old pretty fast. Still worth the money though.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best soundtracks ever.......2006-11-10

I love the show, and the soundtrack is just as good. Like the show, the music is a little dark, but great.

Cynical types will accuse Disney of milking the "greatest" concept until it's drier than Tinkerbell's fairy dust ("Supercalafragilisticexpealidocious," "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Da," and "Heigh Ho" were hits off of Vol. 1; "Bare Necessities," "It's a Small World," and "Some Day My Prince Will Come" stole the show on Vol. 2), but a glimpse of this installment's track listing is all it'll take to squash their suspicions. Once again running reverse-chronologically, Vol. 3 opens with Jonatha Brooke's gorgeously achy ballad "I'll Try," from 2002's arguably not-so-great Return to Neverland, and gradually reaches back through the years to re-raise the curtain on Toy Story 2 ("When She Loved Me," performed by Sarah McLachlan), The Lion King ("Can You Feel the Love Tonight"), Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews's classic "A Spoonful of Sugar"), Pinocchio ("Give a Little Whistle"), and a bundle of treasured others, bottoming out at 1933's "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" from The Three Little Pigs. Vol. 3 is not without its weak moments--would a G-rated movie-goers' poll produce Beauty and the Beast's "Gaston" or The Hunchback of Notre Dame's "Topsy Turvy" on a hits list? Seems unlikely. Still, the bulk of these tracks are, as the included Little Mermaid song goes, "Part of Your World," and the spread of decades they represent proves their staying power. Don't expect Disney to latch the lid on its inexhaustible archives until a dozen or so of these records, each as strong as the next, beckon you back for more. --Tammy La Gorce

Nothing brings sweet recollection of Disney movies like hearing the wonderful songs. In an age where there so much music with no redeeming qualities, these Disney CDs are priceless. Wonderful for the entire family to listen to around the house or in the car while traveling. We can't help but sing along. We love that these are the original tracks from the movies! Wonderful! We now have all three volumes.

I love the songs on this volume. I'll Try by Jonatha Brooke is such an amzing somg. I especially bought this CD fort that song but, was pleasantly surprsed by the rest of the playlist.

4 out of 5 stars Great Disney Music.......2006-02-21

I have bought the first 2 volumes of Disney's Greatest Hits and the 3rd volume doesn't disapoint. My 2 young children love to listen to this CD and talk about the movies that they come from. A definate must have!

3 out of 5 stars Not as good as Vol 1 and Vol 2.......2005-09-11

This Disney CD represents the "leftovers" that didn't make it on Vol 1 and Vol 2 of this series. Although it has some of my favorites, I don't listen to the entire CD often. Disney could have done a better job of editing the which sound files should make the cut on this one. Still, it's nice to have all 3 CDs.

The Noisettes What's the Time Mr. Wolf might have a charming cover, invoking a sort of Flaming Lips playfulness. But inside the cover is a virtual mash-up, where the Yeah Yeah Yeahs collide feverishly with Sons and Daughters, losing the former's spooked mystery and the latter's raw blues but gaining a full-tilt forward heave. Shingai Shoniwa's voice is alternately scoured and sharp and then a chirp and a squall, lilting through lines like this, "ain't no honey from this bee... I'm stung you've got a hold on me" with a dancing acoustic guitar line, shuffling drums, and dub-tinged bass that colors the apparent lightness of "Count of Monte Christo" with a menacing glow. In the wake of "Count," the trio goes on a big, fast pounce for "Sister Rosetta," exploding for the refrain into an old-school punk rock maelstrom that's effervescent, like much of their debut album. --Andrew Bartlett

So I was at my local record store and I was intrigued by the Billie Holliday and Yeah Yeah Yeahs reference. The album was cheap enough to take a chance on and I'm very glad that I did. There are so many musical styles and theories going on in this album but they all equate to a rockin' good time! Imagine a band that can rock like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs but with a front woman who has a great voice to boot. This is a solid album from beginning to end, not one bad song, and I can't say enough good things about it.

5 out of 5 stars Eclecticism of the finest (dis)order.......2007-04-24

The noisettes are a conceptual approach to sound that escapes the confines of pop music. They defy any single paradigm or set of assumptions, instead drawing upon multiple theories, styles, and ideas to gain complementary insights, leading us into a new dimension of sounds and thrills. To put it plainly, which is impossible with this trio - they rock!

From Amazon.co.uk

Standing at 6 feet 4" tall with a shock of bright red hair, 23 year old Patrick Wolf is something of a statement even before he opens his mouth. His two albums to date--2003's Lycanthropy and 2005's Wind in the Wires--have showed him to be more than a pretty face, however, with songs that strike an attractive balance between the imaginative and the indulgent. His third album, The Magic Position, is undoubtedly Wolf's 'pop' moment. The rollicking romp of "Get Lost," the upbeat "Accident and Emergency," and the celebratory title track all underline new levels of accessibility and--dare we say it--optimism. There are hints of the old Wolf too of course, especially in the eclectic choice of instrumentation and the off-kilter song arrangements; for every pop-perfect track there's a slice of raw darkness ("Bluebell") casual introspection ("Augustine") or sidereal rock-tronica ("The Stars"). Less a dramatic reinvention than a sideways turn into the world of adult emotions and mainstream accessibility, The Magic Position is nonetheless Patrick Wolf's most accomplished work to date. --Paul Sullivan

4 out of 5 stars A Viable Performer!.......2007-06-27

In my never ending search for what is good out there and the possible surpirse of finding a really tasty talent (no, I am not going to eat it, just and expression!)I keep looking for highly rated albums for each year and I use AMG, Metacritic (which I do like a lot), Rolling Stone, Spin whatever is available and that so far I respect their opinions. Patrick Wolf I found in Rolling Stone "artists to watch for" and since I became intrigued I bought "The Magic Position". Overall, I fairly assigned 4 stars to the CD. Since my collection as of late is growing at a rapid rate (blame that to musical boredom and a need to listen more and new acts)I only have heard this album 1 time but there are enough good sounds to call it a "keeper". Some of the instrumentation is deceptively appealing and quite melodic. From his looks on the cover I did not know how the waters run with Patrick Wolf but in the end his music did all the talking and I enjoyed it. There were a couple of intimate songs that were very very nice. Obviously Patrick Wolf listens to his own "drummer" and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. A Viable Performer and who knows? When the rotation includes this album again might be twice as enjoyable, after all the very best grows after two or three listens. 4 Stars for "The Magic Position".

5 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT PATRICK WOLF DAZZLES WITH HIS LATEST.......2007-06-26

Patrick Wolf dazzles with his third and latest album, "The Magic Position," a brighter, bolder work than his previous, but no less extraordinary, "Wind in the Wires." With remarkable breadth and depth, he focuses on various states and stages of relationships, from the ebullient title song to the mournful "Bluebells" to the striking "Accident & Emergency," the light "Let's Get Lost" and the reverential "The Stars." It all kicks off with "Overture's" mounting pulse and alluring message to "open up now" and "let the light in."

The music ranges from symphonic to spare, but always seems multi-layered and rich. Wolf's lyrics are stirring, descriptive and drenched in wisdom and insight.

Wolf is truly in a class by himself. As a singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, performer and visual artist, he possesses an extraordinary talent, vision and appeal--all of which are realized on this amazing album.

5 out of 5 stars The WolfMagic.......2007-06-02

Along with Feist's The Reminder and Mika's Life in Cartoon Motion, Patrick Wolf's 3rd outing The Magic Position is nothing short of being charismatic. The album is a whimsical mix of electro-pop, dance, rock and classical music. As an young artiste who single-handedly plays over 40 instruments, his music is immediately varied and arresting.

The opener Overture begins with some serious deep beats before breaking into a rock song. The title track is a boisterous child-like track that brings with it a cheerful disposition. Accidents and Emergency contains an irresistible hook consisting of horns and sirens. Magpie perfectly demonstrates his classical leanings. His deep baritone voice is a stark contrast to his flamboyantly loud image on the album art.

With The Magic Position, Wolf shakes off the dark imagery of his previous releases and emerges with greater faith and conviction. One of the year's best! (A+)

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful.......2007-08-02

My son just turned 3 and absolutely loves Peter & the Wolf. He knows all the animals by heart and listens to it over and over. I grew up with this album and was so happy to find the Leonard Bernstein narration since I think it's the best. Highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Brings back old memories.......2007-05-13

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!!! I remember listening to Peter and the Wolf as a child and loving it. Now that I have three kids of my own, I thought this would be a great purchase. My 5, 3, and 1 year olds love it. Plus if you are a parent who wants your kids to appreciate music, Peter and the Wolf (Leonard Bernstein's narration is the best), The Carnival Of The Animals, and the introduction to the orchestra will give them a goods start. For $6.97 you cannot beat the price, and it would be an affordable and memorable gift to give friends as they begin to raise their own little ones.

3 out of 5 stars Could be better.......2007-03-29

I am a little dissappointed with Bernstein's narration of Peter and the Wolf. I prefer the Disney rendition with Sterling Holloway. Bernstein didn't seem to put much drama into it, he sounded distracted and it just plain fell flat. The music was fine, and he did much better with The Carnival of Animals.

5 out of 5 stars Surprised at how wonderful this is -- a huge hit!.......2007-03-18

I bought this for "music appreciation" education for my 6 yr. old. I thought it would be challenging to get him, as well as my 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 yr. olds, to let me play it in the car. I also thought it would bore and/or irritate my husband -- so I was nervous a bit. Well, I was completely wrong. We all "love" it.

It is high quality and pleasant to the ears. We play it whenever we are in the car. The narratives in "Peter and the Wolf" and "Carnival of the Animals" are very engaging and hold their attention. At home, my 6 yr. old sits at the dinner table and recites the entire narrative (along with the appropriate tune representing the characters) of Peter and the Wolf -- complete with Bernstein's accent! Great memory/recitation exercise and he does it voluntarily. My two year old asks for it EVERY TIME we're in the car and many times my 1 1/2 yr. old is fussy until we turn it on, then she's as content as can be.

All the kids have picked out characters to "be" in Peter and the Wolf and have assigned them to Mom and Dad. It's a lot of fun. My 2 yr. old always calls out when the cat comes along, "That's me!!" and my 1 1/2 yr. old always says, "Correct!" just before Bernstein does. The littlest to the oldest listen intently and engage with the narrator.

The last piece is my personal favorite, as it introduces each instrument in the orchestra and how it all fits together, and the music is beautiful (the kids like the music too, but prefer "Peter..."). My 6 yr. old has learned a lot from the last piece without realizing it; when I explain instruments of music we hear elsewhere, he calmly informs me, "I know that, Mom."

This fascination with the CD has lasted a long time; we did not just start listening to it last week. I think that reflects on how enjoyable it is for the whole family. My husband has told me repeatedly how glad he is we bought this. It is also a good buy here on Amazon -- I paid several dollars more for it.

5 out of 5 stars What an Awesome Story.......2007-07-31

My 3 year old grand daughter loves this cd. Now, I want to warn you, originally she was afraid of the deep sounding instruments. But after I listened to the cd with her, and make noises and movements with the sounds, she began to love it. I believe this cd will help to create a love of music in your child and mine.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent recording of both Peter and the Wolf and Carnival of the Animals.......2007-05-13

Leonard Bernstein makes these already child-accessible pieces even more friendly to the young listener. My 3 year old really enjoys listening to the Peter and the Wolf recording and likes to guess which animal is represented by a particular instrument. The recording of The Carnival of the Animals is also wonderful and is made more fun by bringing in young and very talented artists into the orchestra.

2 out of 5 stars Little bit disapointed.......2007-03-09

I was not informed that this title has a narration in english intercalated with the music. Although I understeood almost everything, my family did not and my translation disrupted the listening. Pity.

2 out of 5 stars May Well Be the Definitive Version But Who Could Tell?.......2006-06-07

Especially when the sound quality is just so bad, you have to strain to hear just what Bernstein is saying for Peter and the Wolf and the volume levels increase only slightly for the Carnival of the Animals making this an extremely boring cd and definitely not worth the money. I'd recommend waiting for a remastered version of this to be released or to get some other version instead.

5 out of 5 stars Very enjoyable for kids!.......2006-02-25

Leonard Bernstein is unmatched. Our kids love this rendition of Peter & the Wolf as well as the Carnival of the Animals. They are nice stories and it fosters an appreciation of classical music themes.

Album Description

The music From Autumn to Ashes created on Holding A Wolf By The Ears heralds a new beginning for the New York-based band. "I want to do everything I can to get people to realize that this is really like a new band," says Francis Mark, lead vocalist.

The most recognizable sign of this reinvention is Mark's recent shift from drummer to drummer and full-time vocalist, a result of the departure of former lead singer Benjamin Perri. But over the course of the album's 12 tracks, it becomes clear that for the band, that more has changed than just a voice.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars awesome album.......2007-07-31

I've been a fan of this band since their original release years ago. This is not their best stuff, but still very descent. As always there are tons of excellent guitar riffs, with the drums to match. This album is missing those brutal breakdowns From Autumn fans are accustomed to. It is still a very solid album throughout.

4 out of 5 stars A surprising release.......2007-06-06

This record was quite a surprise for me as a more recent fan of From Autumn To Ashes. Indeed, my friend was the one who introduced me to this band with their 2005 release "Abandon Your Friends". I enjoyed this record thoroughly as it had a good blend of soft emo songs as well as brutal and well exectuted metalcore songs. Little did I know that this was not at all the same style of music the band had previously produced.

Therefore, when I listened to this cd I was as eagerly waiting for the beautiful softer songs as well as the metalcore songs. I was quite surprised to find out that there were actually no soft songs to be found on this cd but instead a series of well-written metal songs with melodic choruses. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised to find improved metal songs but I was disappointed to not find a single softer track.

The drumming on this release is significantly stronger than on the last album, indeed, more blast beats can be noticed and the fills sound more like what they did on tracks like "The After Dinner payback" which is good to hear. The clean vocals have also improved slightly, although we can still hear that Mark is not fully confident (his voice is still slightly shaky at times). However, I am quite disappointed with Mark's screams. Indeed, the last singer (Ben Perri) performed very strong and confident metalcore vocals while Mark has more of a bark which does get annoying after a while.

From Autumn To Ashes are obviously moving forwards with their metal roots, however I do believe that a change of screaming vocals could be very benefitial for the band.

I would recommend any old fan of the band to definitely get their hands on this new disc, however if people who listened to "Abandon Your Friends" mainly enjoyed the softer songs, I would not recommend this new release.

5 out of 5 stars Wow! They came back around!.......2007-05-09

Awesome! Spectacular! Magical! But seriously this is a great album. I was a little discouraged from the last release, but this one makes up for it. Good job, FATA

5 out of 5 stars It just gets better.......2007-05-08

For those of you who are FATA fans, and were a little discouraged at the softer edge of Abandon Your Friends, Holding a Wolf By the Ears will knock your socks back off. They took the extreme edge from their earlier work, and made it RAGE! This has to be the a close tie with The Fiction We Live for one of the greatest albums of all time. Trust me, if you are a true fan, this does not disappoint, it makes you smile and remember just why we love FATA!

5 out of 5 stars surprising.......2007-04-26

I'd have to agree with these reviews prior to mine. I'm not happy to say, but i havent been listening to FATA for awhile now. The abandon your friends really put my thoughts about the band down (Though there is a reason if you read up). My buddy put a new cd of FATA in the other day, i had no idea they had come out with a new album. Once i heard it i said "this sounds different", then i realized there was a new vocalist that turned out to be the back-up vocalist from before. The album blew me away, and i really believe this is the way it should've been the whole time. I really never liked Perri(former singer), and if you havent hear them yet definately take a listen. ROCK ON GUYS!
