About the Artist
From the inner city streets of Elizabeth, NJ, emerges E-Town Concrete, a truly powerful five piece sculpted by their urban environment. The band was formed in the summer of 1995 as a side project of a garage band in which Anthony and Ken played guitar and Ted was on bass. For E-Town, Ken's role remained the same, while Anthony and Ted applied their talents to other areas. Now, Anthony was experimenting with vocals and Ted found himself comfortably behind the drums. David, a childhood friend of the trio, was recruited to play guitar. Two bassists later, Eric joined the band to solidify the lineup. E-Town Concrete was now complete.

E-Town's music flows naturally creating a unique blend of emotion, hip-hop and hardcore that is refreshingly authentic. E-Town Concrete wears its heart on its sleeve for the world to see, lending an instant credibility to their music. Dealing with many of life's harsh realities, Anthony's eye opening lyrics conjure up powerful images that refuse to go away. This is not your run of the mill rock/rap hybrid by any means, all aspects of their music are done “right” and their versatility is apparent. E-Town's hip-hop interludes come-off so well that they demand respect by even the most narrow minded rap purists, while still churning out the types of guitar riffs that can make any dance floor erupt into a frenzy. E-Town has truly bridged the gap. They have been accepted by fans of all genres in every music community, and continue to win people over everywhere.

In just three short years, E-Town Concrete has built an impressive following worldwide, and it hasn't been easy. Hard work, talent, and sacrifice are the key ingredients to their success. E-Town's popularity has skyrocketed because of heavy airplay from radio stations across the United States. College Music Journal charted E-town in the top five loud rock adds the week of April 6, 1998. They have also charted on commercial frequencies such as 92.3 K-Rock in New York City (the home of Howard Stern), Energy FM 90.0 in Erie Pennsylvania, as well as Seton Hall University's WSOU - the titans of college radio. E-Town Concrete has also landed themselves some impressive write-ups and reviews in reputable music publications such as Juice (FEB/MAR ‘98), In Effect (Winter '98) and Strength (JUN/JUL '98), to name a few.

1998 is the “dawn of a reign” and E-Town Concrete will continue to overcome all obstacles on their way to the top. E-Town is bringing originality and passion back into music like no other. As they continue to climb the ladder of success, let it be known, E-Town Concrete can not and will not be denied.

1 out of 5 stars ...what.......2007-01-29

i dont understand, regardless of how "punk" you are, how you should be happy about 9/11. all that did was create a vehicle for people to go and launch a war and take away our as well as other's freedoms! random listenings/probings...dead people the world over...the draft bill thats in the process of being passed (which will almost definitely make it thru cuz we're in a "time of war") so we can go invade iran

and this is a good thing? bullshit

5 out of 5 stars Amazing.......2006-07-13

This Album felt liek they were reading my mind.
Every issue that i thought of and more they covered.
In such a catchy way.
Simply genoius.

5 out of 5 stars Best Album Yet.......2006-04-05

This album is incredible, it mixes ska, punk, and hardcore metal into a whirling death mobile of awesome. It has not one bad song on it. I love Mediocre Generica passionately but this tops it. I hope their next cd can somehow top this.

3 out of 5 stars too busy.......2006-03-30

I am too busy watching WTC 7 video footage and shooting up to write a review on this cd.

5 out of 5 stars TOO GOOD.......2006-03-10

Leftover Crack's second album could be considered their best. Without a bad song on it this band really defies generes. Successfully taking a unique style of Hardcore Punk/Ska and infusing in it elements of Death Metal sounds and Hip Hop attitude they have created some of the best music ever. Politically charged, they pull no punches, as you can tell by the cover they say what they like. The songs on this album are about killing cops, hating cops, burning prisons, being happy about 9/11, hating America, accepting death and Atheism, and killing more cops. Even though I obviously don't agree with everything(actually a lot of things) they say I still love them.
Songs to Note: All of 'em not a bad song to be found except maybe Soon We'll be Dead kinda slow.

        4 out of 5 stars Not bad........2001-11-01

I don't understand the whole rap/metal thing, and risking the chance of sounding ignorant I don't really want to understand it.

However, coming from the New Jersey hardcore scene it's kind of hard not to have seen these guys a few times... when I checked out the album, it's one of the few that does both rap and metal justice. Worth checking out.

5 out of 5 stars E Town keeps it coming.......2001-05-09

All I can say is I love this band!!!

This, among the other two, is just another addition to E Town's non stop force. They are the kind of band that just can't be denied.

Though this album is short, it's still bangin'.

It's hard for true fans of E Town to select a favorite album let alone song.

If there is a true genre such as rap metal...E Town is the exact defintion of it.

The have an awesome MC/lyricist, Anthony Martini, on the mic with an awesome metal attack in the back. The guitarist, Delux Mondragon, pays so much attention to detail. You feel every chord he hits. They are one of few bands that keep all of their instruments vibrant. You can hear and feel each instrument individually. Their drummer, Teddy P., knows his stuff. He keeps really nice and attention getting beats on each song. Bass player, Eric DeNault, keeps it coming as well. His sound can't be denied. I'm just talking instruments. I haven't even gone into the lyrical geniuses in this band!

Together this band is one of the greatest forces the Metal, Hip Hop, and other genres will ever see.

        They're taken over...guaranteed. ;)

5 out of 5 stars i love the band and love their music, and i wanna * anthony.......1999-11-01

i bought this cd thinking it would be more hard core crust punk like brutalised-{thier 1st album}the singer from this band is from the legendary ANTI CIMEX!! but like so many good punk bands they had to turn their backs on what made them good and turn metal!!! not that i dont like metal i just think it spoils the nature of the band.but the cover on this cd is a classic so buy it just for the cover.
