She does it again.......2007-01-29
An outstanding follow-up to her debut album, Learning How To Fly. Inga's voice is smooth and accurate while at the same time retaining a sense of intimacy and warmth.
Inga sings and swings.......2006-07-09
A great album of great songs. Inga sings with feeling and is ably supported by the Bill Peterson Trio. 'Black Crow' and 'Just in Time' are exceptional tracks, but then the whole album is superb. Excellent.

For a meat 'n' potatoes country singer like Toby Keith, he does a pretty good job of showing a sensitive side, though his ballad baritone goes slightly shaky when left out too long. Even so, with a basic mixture of beery braggadocio and tender sentiment Keith (who cowrites most of his material) seems to have hit his stride and has found a formula that commercial country has finally embraced. On this follow-up to his 1999 How Do You Like Me Now, production values remain slick, considering how much testosterone is involved, but there's still room for this Oklahoma boy to strut while a handful of heavy metal arpeggios punctuate the proceedings. --Henry Cabot Beck

Pull My Chain Toby Keith.......2007-02-02
I LOVE this cd! I am a relatively new Toby Keith fan, since 2004. I first got the Greatest Hits 2 cd, which I loved immediately. I have added the newer cds to my collection, and now have begun adding the previous cds. This is one of my favorites. I really like the upbeat songs, where Toby really rocks, as well as the slower love songs, ie, You Leave me Weak :). I highly recommend this cd to any Toby fan!
True Americans.......2005-09-12
Okay folks let's face it. "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue" and "Beer for My Horses" are the two best songs on here, I think.
Maybe it's because I'm from Texas and we Texans don't take kindly to foreign freaks attacking us, but I totally agree with every line written by Toby Keith in this powerfully patriotic song. Try to remember the aftermath of September 11th: the overwhelming surge of patriotism and the "we will NEVER forget" attitude. Aside from the present-day views of Iraq and the war on terror, Sept. 11th is almost a whole separate ordeal. This song was written in the aftermath of a very terrible event and to me, it reaffirms the pride that we Americans have in our country...and those who mess with us are gonna get "a boot up their ass."
I applaud Toby for putting it so plainly. He's saying what I believe we as Americans were thinking, that as the greatest country in the world, we will overcome (and we have)
Toby Keith's "Pull My Chain".......2005-04-08
Toby Keith's "Pull My Chain"
By: Kiya Mercado
The C.D. I'm reviewing is Toby Keith's "pull My Chain." He's been in the singing business for 10 years now, and has had 6 previous C.D.'s. Like all Toby's music, this was a hit! My first impression of the Oklahoma boy's music was very positive. I just loved his C.D. because his song choices were good.
My favorite track numbers are: 1: "I'm just talkin' about tonight", 2: "I wanna talk about me", 3: "I can't take you anywhere", 4: "You leave me weak", 6: "Pull my chain", and 11: "My list". I enjoy these numbers because some of them are humorous, and I can relate some of the songs to my personal life. Unfortunately, there are a few dud songs. The tracks are: 5: "Trying to matter", 7: "The Sha La La song", 8: "Pick em' up and lay em' down", 9: "Forever hasn't got here yet", 10: "yesterday's pain", and 12: "You didn't have as much to loose." These tracks bore me because the lyrics and the music type. One reason why I like his C.D. is Toby Keith wrote or co-wrote all his own songs except 2!
This C.D. of Toby's is rock/country. I know many country fans were estatic when it came out, but the anti-country people were less enthusiastic about his C.D. coming out. Country people just love Toby Keith! Compared to Montgumery Gentry's country/rock C.D.'s, Toby's C.D. rallied.
Toby's C.D. ranges from $4.99-15.00. He's sold up to 1 million total, and they're still selling. The label is Dream Works. His fan club gave him 5 and one half stars out of 6, and I totally agree with them!
Toby strikes gold again!.......2004-01-10
Toby Keith, one of country music's leading men, scores another hit album. This collection of 13 thrilling songs continally keeps Toby at the top of his game. From soultry country love songs to up-tempo dance numbers, he strikes the perfect chord. "I'm Just Talkin' About Tonight" starts the c.d. off, projecting Toby's humorous perspective on love. The title track lets you in on the give-and-take qualities of engagement and marriage. To mix the album up a bit, Toby adds several heart-clenching ballads, such as "You Didn't Have As Much To Lose" and "Yesterday's Rain". A bonus track is added, paying homage to the rodeo world. His baritone vocals, sweet guitar srumming, and throw-caution-to-the-wind attitude make this singer a legend. This album is certainly a must-have for all the Toby Keith fans out there.
Pull My Chain - Toby Keith.......2004-01-01
His CD is one of the funnest CD's I have ever purchased. Almost every lryic seems to have two meanings. It is clever, quick and great to listen to.
Not to mention, that country voice that Toby Keith has makes every song somethin' we can listen to for ours. Spice your chili.

Thematically, director Robert Altman's career sometimes seems an endless series of left turns into the unexpected; the one constant has been a rich and rewarding attention to the intricacies of character development and interaction. Composer Patrick Doyle underscores Gosford Park's Merchant-Ivory/Agatha Christie/Altman-wit fusion and '30s British upper-class setting with a score that's period spot-on, character-rich, and often sadly evocative. Doyle's restraint is masterful, often leaning on piano, accordion, and small string arrangements that emphasize the characters' intimacies and the film's drawing room settings. Key to the story are a handful of prewar songs by Ivor Novello (who's also a character in the film), ranging from the sprightly humor of "And Her Mother Came Too" and "What a Duke Should Be" to the romantic schmaltz of "I Can Give You the Starlight" and "Why Isn't It You?" The latter is performed here at the piano (and, remarkably, live before the cameras) by Jeremy Northam. Leavened by a small jazz ensemble and a few darkly ominous cues, Doyle's score is an understated gem. --Jerry McCulley
Customer Reviews:
Gosford Park Sound Track.......2007-03-30
The original music is creative and very listenable. It is typical of popular music of the 1930s. This CD is highly recommended to those people who enjoy music from the 1920s and 1930s.
Better than the movie.......2004-12-08
Many people, I believe, buy a soundtrack because they are mesmerized by the movie and want to extend the experience by listening to something that reminds them of it. But "Gosford Park" is hardly that kind of movie. It is brilliant and atmospheric as it analyzes the British class system, but that's hardly the kind of thing that wins the heart. The soundtrack of this movie was my favorite CD from last year, and the reasons I liked it had nothing to do with the movie.
Why is this music so compelling and winning?
First, it is fun to discover the marvellous talent of Ivor Norvello. His music is half of the charm of the soundtrack. Some songs are funny ("Her mother came too"), some beautiful ("I can give you the starlight") and some poignant ("The land of might have been"). I had not encountered Norvello before this film. Jeremy Northam's perfect delivery of Norvello's songs would not leave me after I'd seen the film. Days later, I found the songs had taken up residence in the back of my head, insisting that I go back to the soundtrack to make them a permanent part of my musical life.
Second, there is the charm of the orchestral music composed by Patrick Doyle. Sometimes people wonder "why aren't they writing beautiful classical music any more?" Well, they are. It goes into soundtracks, however, rather than being commissioned by orchestras. The test for the quality of Doyle's compositions is that you don't need to refer to the film to appreciate this music. It simply charms and intrigues us with its own merits.
My third reason for loving this CD is too personal to mention here.
I give this CD my highest personal recommendation.
I don't mind the repeating themes, but the CD is too short!.......2004-06-08
Unlike many reviewers here, I didn't buy the CD to hear the Ivor Novello songs or Jeremy Northam's voice. I actually liked the instrumental tracks, and never actually thought I'd like to listen to something played on an accordion.
However, Mr. Doyle's music portrays the lethargy of the snobby Upstairs very well to the contrast of the relative energy of Novello's songs, which the Downstairs servants enjoy, but the Upstairs people can't stand.
My dislikes about the CD include the female singer who can't really sing and the length of the CD. Some of these cues are only about a minute long. WHY pay so much money for such a short CD??? Why not add more music??
Overall though, if you liked either Doyle's music or Novello's songs (hopefully the listener will like both), it's a CD worth getting.
Excellent Mix.......2003-04-23
I fell in love with this soundtrack when I watched Gosford Park in the cinemas.
Sometimes period music, sometimes mystery music, sometime personal music. Jeremy Northam's songs are simply delicious and I love hearing them.
I liken the style (not type) of mix to You've Got Mail.
Heaps of fun and lovely to listen to.
One the best soundtracks out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2003-03-06
When I saw the movie at the theater I kept thinking I've got to have the soundtrack to this movie because it is so beautiful. I also really enjoyed the sung songs 6.And Her Mother Came Too, 10.I Can Give You The Starlight, 11.What A Duke Should Be, 16. Only For A While, 20. The Way It's Meant To Be, 24. The Land That Might-Have-Been!! I think that Patrick Doyle did a wonderful job of scoring this movie the just fits right in with it all, I only wish there was more to listen to!! I highly recommend this album to everyone who liked the movie and people who love great soundtracks, you will not be sorry if you buy this!!!!

Album Description
On their second album, Pull the Brake, the Wrinkle Neck Mules continue to push the boundaries of American roots-rock with 15 well-crafted tunes about whiskey, murder and the decisions we make after the party ends. The Mules juggle rock `n' roll and acoustic music in a fashion similar to bands like Uncle Tupelo and Neil Young and Crazy Horse. And they do it with an undercurrent of humor even when themes turn darker.
Pull the Brake finds the band reunited with producer Chris Kress (Ben Kweller, Dave Matthews). Andy Stepanian (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Chase Heard(vocals, guitar, banjo) share songwriting duties on the album. Stepanian is drawn toward darker themes, while Heard has more of a pop sensibility. It is the tension between these two voices that accounts for the band's rich and varied musical texture. Mason Brent(vocals, guitar, mandolin, pedal steel) once again shines with his scorching guitar solos and tasty flourishes on the mandolin. And Blake Gayle (drums)provides a stripped-down style of playing adding a ragged feel to the music. Cult-hero Bonnie "Prince" Billy also shows up to lend supporting vocals on the hauntingly beautiful "Lowlight."
While their first album, Minor Enough, had all the comforts of home, Pull the Brake treads darker ground. Many of the characters in these songs are all too familiar with the temptations that the night offers. But there are still some good-time rockers that offer redemption. The closing track, "Put Your Guitars Where Your Mouth Is," perfectly captures the spirit of the band's live shows. During the chorus, Heard sings, "Maybe you can have tomorrow, because I've got yesterday." With those words, we know we are listening to a band that is proudly steeped in tradition but still plowing new ground.

great follow-up to their 1st cd........2007-01-16
here's a great band that i just discovered. I bought their 1st cd, loved it, and right away bought this, their follow-up, which is even better. if you are an alt-country head, you can't go wrong with this. i very much look forward to more from this outfit.
Viva Los Mules!.......2006-07-13
There've been 3 bands that have blown me away in the last 5 years: Freeloader, Drive By Truckers, and The Mules. I heard "Liza" on a Paste compilation CD a few months ago, loved it, and figured it all couldn't be that good. Well, damned if Pull The Brake isn't chock full of some of the best tunes you've heard in a very long time. Alt-country, Americana, bluegrass, country, rock....however you want to try and describe it. See these guys live and you're in for a treat. Their debut, Minor Enough, while slightly less accessible, is fabulous as well.
Pick up a copy of Pull the Brake - you'll be glad you did.
Improvement all around.......2006-07-07
I fell in love with this band when I heard their debut CD, Minor Enough. It was like a greatest hits album of all new material. Their blend of rock, bluegrass and Americana, although derivative, sounded fresh and the songs were outstanding, although the band could have used more kick on the rock-oriented songs.
Now we have Pull The Brake and I am happy to report that there is improvement just about everywhere, especially in the production/sound quality. Pull The Brake shows the band serious about creating Americana-type music. The exaggerated southern drawl of singer Andy Stepanian is reigned in a little, although he remains hard to understand. The musicianship is still excellent. Highlights include Liza, the title song, Okeechobee, Lowlight, Strangers/Sojourners and When Things Unravel.
I have a few complaints...too many medium tempo songs that rely on start-stop rhythms. Also, the drum playing on about half the songs tends to drag things down. I'd like more inventive-ness as opposed to just rudimentary time-keeping. They could have dropped a couple of songs as well. And Put Your Guitars Where Your Mouth Is is a really dumb name for a song.
I had my doubts that WNM could follow up Minor Enough with something good. But I was wrong!
New "Alt" champions.......2006-06-15
The Mules may very well be the best Roots rockin', alt-country band out there today. They craft a smart mixture of acoustic, sometimes hillbilly sounding music and punishing roots rock. Their songwriting is also superior to the majority of today's acts. The themes of their songs are dark, and hilarious, & you'll be hard-pressed to find a group with this combination of talent, humour, and character. It's all here.

Customer Reviews:
The vinyl version is better.......2006-02-19
This is the film version, and it is inferior to the original album release. Often times, soundtrack releases differed from their film versions because composers could tweak passages here and there and get a relaxex, dedicated recording, away from the harsh deadlines of film making. The result was often glorious, as was the case for Jerry Goldsmith's Patton.
Add the famous George C. Scott speeches as prologue and epilogue and you have a classic. But only on vinyl. The vinyl version has better audio quality and is a better performance. It is a shame we are stuck with this dubbed version, which ironically is available on the Patton DVD as well.
Do some research!.......2006-01-14
This is a great CD for collectors. This is the ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK to the film. These arrangements are the ones that were ACTUALLY USED in the film, NOT the ones that were on the album with the speeches. So, if you are looking for the opening and closing speeches, you won't find them here.
Why?
Because there are actually THREE different versions of the score for this FANTASTIC film.
There was another version conducted by Jerry Goldsmith in 1997.
And.... there was ANOTHER one that was recorded in 1970. THAT is the one with the speeches. As far as I know, it has NEVER been released on CD. Hopefully, at some point, someone will see fit to release that version. Personally, I feel those are the best arrangements of the music used in the film. Or, better yet, make a special edition using all 3 versions.
So, you should be HAPPY to have THIS version as well.
By the way, I believe this info is in the liner notes of this CD.
Missed oportunity!.......2006-01-06
While I can appreciate that this release is a very competent recreation of the musical content of the original vinyl, I too was totally dismayed at the absence of Patton's speeches(as delivered by George C Scott) which are virtually inseparable from the music for anyone who owned the original vinyl release. All of which subsequently leaves this release a rather hollow experience.
Two classic scores!.......2005-11-22
This cd includes Frank DeVol's score for the Robert Aldrich classic, "Flight of the Phoenix"; an exciting score for an equally exciting movie. Goldsmith's justifiably famous score for Patton features the original recordings, including the haunting "echoplexed" trumpets. Also, the previous reviewer's one-star rating is rather inexplicable considering this is FILM SCORE release. Why would soundbites from the film be included? Bizarre. All-in-all a great package and a limited edition (only 3,000 copies). Get yours while you can - you won't be disappointed!
Missing the Best .......2005-06-25
This album does not have Patton's opening speech or the closing "All Glory is Fleeting" speech. It misses the two most important segments of the original soundtrack.

Getting a fix on Jonatha Brooke's music has never been easy, and her 2001 effort further complicates the task. As a solo artist, Brooke has teased fans with genre-gobbling pastiche (10 Cent Wings) and austere acoustics (Live), as if she were still searching for her voice in the Story's aftermath. On Steady Pull she may not find it, but you can hear her zeroing in. Working with legendary producer Bob Clearmountain (Pretenders and Bryan Adams) Brooke emphasizes her strengths--mercurial but memorable melodies, complex but flowing rhythms--through a variety of settings: polished contemporary R&B, alternative guitar rock, orchestral pop, as well as some trademark acoustic folk. If the musical shifts occasionally verge on distraction, Brooke's compressed, confessional songwriting and sincere, tart delivery mostly remain in focus. --Roy Kasten
Customer Reviews:
rebuttal to love frog mindy.......2006-06-06
it really is amusing how some folks talk about artists like flavors of ice cream. what is so wrong about love frog mindy's review here is that she forgot to check her ego at the door. she calls jonatha brooke's vocals, whinney. i believe it would be more of a singing technique. you know, kind of adds dramatic effect to lyrics. if she wants to hear full-out bird chirps, listen to mariah carey.
she goes on and compares jonatha to britney. that is the bit that really stirred my ire. this is like comparing a generic grocery store soda brand, the kind that contains about a million grams of suger with some carbonated water thrown in, with fresh spring water. they cannot be compared. simple as that. do some research froggy, the simple fact that jonatha went to college (amherst) makes her worlds apart from brittney. i won't go any futher as froggy would never understand.
she tries to state something about tones, changes of keys, etc. like she knows something musical. they sound weird to froggy's ear cuz she has never heard anything not presented in the key of E with the standard D-C-G chord prgression. check out the pages on jonatha's website about her tunings, self-recording, running her own record label etc. then talk.
finally, she says jonatha brooke needs polishing. does a bear need a hair cut?!!! both statements are the same cuz they make no sense. froggy, stick to the idigo girls, where the beats are a nice 4/4, and the chords are major (with the occasional Am, Em) and nothing gets beyond a bland mayo vanilla. don't try to listen to jonatha no more. she is just gonna give you a headache. your ani difranco and sinead references are way off as well. you know you just threw them two no-talents in there cuz you thought it would make you sound cool.
jonatha, is for the educated listener. simple and plain.
Falling In.......2005-10-14
Jonatha Brooke's music reminds me of a virgin version of Ani Difranco, both sharing that unique "whinney" sound... Some one wrote in another review that her high notes where sharp and shrill. I wouldn't say shrill. "Whinney". But Jonatha's voice also reminds me of an impressionist at times of Sinead O'Connor. The tones, the key changes, all very light yet over flowing. She is much better singing lower toned as well as slower paced music for her voice. The higher the note.. her voice breaks into nothing but air, not a full sound. If she wants to be the next Brittney ..keep on with the airy sound.. if not.. follow your low tones... Lows also tend to feed on the emotion more. Overall, shes got one hell of a voice, she just needs some polishing....
Perfection of voice and sexy of soul.......2003-12-02
Is there anyone greater in songwriting and singing than Jonatha Brooke?? NO...She is the finest talent able to be heard in todays's music...If you haven't heard this CD or her past you are missing music perfection flowing through the body and soul of the pretties artist on the planet...
My first time..........2002-09-03
This was my first experience hearing Jonatha Brooke, and I have to say, this is one of my favorite cd's. She has so much soul, energy, and spirit in this album that it's hard to put my finger on what it is that I love so much. Her lyrics touch that part of you that screams "THIS IS ME!" Almost every song on this album is perfect and its one that you want to listen to over and over again. I'm on now to buy the rest of her cds... Now you should take my advice and get this one.
Jonatha rocks out and stays soulful.......2002-08-05
This CD speaks to me! It is original, beautiful and sophisticated. Lyrics from the title track, "I feel the steady pull of things that I can't see...and I like it" completely describe the liminal spaces between comings and goings. I appreciate Jonatha's incredible depth and complexity and marvel with each new direction she explores. Jonatha Brook is nothing short or EXCEPTIONALLY TALENTED!!! Having just seen her on stage in Woodstock, she is even more impressive and down to earth. Her music is an anthem to all women seeking to be emancipated from whatever holds them back. She deserves to be as popular as many of her less talented peers currently in the limelight, however,I would hate for her to get so famous that she would stop playing small venues. Buy this CD. It is FABULOUS!

All-levels post-graduate seminar on the jammin' blues .......2005-01-09
I first heard this album (vinyl days) on my first day at college when my roommate pulled it out of her stack of LP's and put it on the turntable. She had won it from a radio contest and hadn't listened to it much. When "Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning" came on, my jaw just dropped and I realized that until that moment that I had known NOTHING about what music could be. It was the introduction to a life-long love of the blues, acoustic and electric. Listen and love it, folks -- this is a post-graduate seminar on bluesy jammin' music! PS -- my 5th grade Sunday school class last year also loved "Keep Your Lamps" when we studied the parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins.
Only okay.......2002-03-29
Starting off with the promise of "John's Other", an original by funky violinist Papa John Creech, this album slides into mediocrity pretty quickly. "Never Happen No More" is a great song, but is over busy with harpist Will Scarlett and Papa John competing for space around Jorma, Jack and drummer Sammy Piazza. "Been So Long" is a great piece, but was tinkered with in the studio a bit. "I Want You to Know" is just another blues piece, and Papa John just overpowers the rest of the band on it. "Keep Your Lamps" is okay, but Jorma doing it solo on Double Dose knoock all other versions in the dirt, and again, Creech just overplays.
And maybe that's my problem with the whole set: Papa John. Don't misunderstand, I think he added a distinct flavor, ESPECIALLY on Burgers but on the live electric sets (this and Classic Hot Tuna Electric) he gets annoying and repetitive after about two songs.
If you're just discovering Tuna, I still recommend Burgers or the first Hot Tuna Live as starting points.
Hot Tuna's best album.......2001-11-28
I remember the first time I heard this on vinyl in 1971 or 72 it just blew me away. I have other Hot Tuna albums and Jorma albums but this is the best. This is my all time favorite.
Best sampling of 70's Hot Tuna.......1999-06-09
Diverse compilation of studio & live favorites from the Acadamy of Music days of the mid 70's. Hot Tuna, one of the best jammin' rock & roll bands in the universe, is captured live in true form. Great for first time listeners, and favorite of hard core TUNA aficionados! Also, contains the best version of "Come Back Baby" ever recorded!
Great CD that accurately represents what HOT TUNA did live........1998-08-07
Excellent piece of history. Hot Tuna is still around in some form but they haven't sounded like this in a long time. Papa John Creach screaching and Will Scarlet wailing. The question is, what took so long to get this on CD and more importantly, where's the rest of the show?? Hot Tuna never played for less than 3 hours.

Loving it!.......2005-01-10
This is the perfect pre-party CD. Pull up, Tamale, and Like That (i could be wrong on the title but its about a motorcycle.) The song with Foxy is off the chain too. Kevin Little, Beenie Man are also on par with this CD.

Winger still rocks me! .......2006-05-05
I purchase this CD to replace my old cassette. When it arrived it was like getting a hot new album, except I know all the words already! The 80's rocked like no other generation has or ever will.
Just as awesome as Winger's first two albums!.......2006-05-01
Winger is one of the GREATEST hair metal bands ever and this CD is just as awesome as "Winger" and "In The Heart Of The Young!" Anyone would be a fool NOT to listen to this CD or any other of Winger's albums! Winger totally ROCKS!!!!
The best song on here is called Spell I'm Under! Totally Winger! My favorite next to Miles Away and Headed For A Heartbreak! These Metal Ballads just have a special magic that these so called "ballads" of today's bands just don't have!
I love this whole album and it's just as WINGER as any of their other albums! It doesn't stray too far and totally sounds like them!
Another song that ROCKS is Down Incognito. I love this rocker! The music itself is awesome!
Blind Revolution Mad is another great rock song!
Actually ALL of Winger's CD's kick ass and ROCK!!! Get the whole Winger collection, you will NOT regret it!!!!
whew!.......2006-04-13
the previous review mirrors my thoughts; says it all.
its so cool, its a gush of ice water in the face after a long sleep, or
its so hot, be warned, it may melt your CD player.
whichever, go for it. this reconditioned my interest in hard rock and metel. it clarifies art, and pushes away noise.
One of the few absolutely perfect albums.......2005-09-30
Winger... man, they just never get or got enough respect. Yes, this is the band that gave you "Seventeen" and it was a bit lyrically cheesy. Or perhaps you didnt like the boringly standard ballad "Miles Away". But, even from prior albums there were brilliant songs like "Under One Condition" that were unique and tragically overlooked as singles. Pull takes that concept into a full album of incredible songs... and even took Winger into some of the heaviest songs they ever laid down. Most importantly the songs are complex musically and lyrically without ever losing the ability to easily grab you. The musicianship is also absolutely top notch. Blind Revolution Mad, like many songs on the album, will tease you with its lighter intro before opening up into a straight out rocker. In fact, I think on first listen some might be taken back by just how much acoustic guitar is prevalent on this album (I know I was at first)... but, just stick with it... because once you absorb this album, you will never look back on the acoustic work as a negative in this case. Junkyard Dog nearly reverses the slow to heavy form on some of the other songs with being nice and heavy most of the song only to mellow out more in its ending (which is essentially a whole other song)... but it is done in a way that is extremely cool. The Lucky One remains my all-time favorite song lyrically... its just a clever way of constructing the message without being overly intellectual as some try to do in order to make their lyrics "impressive". It's also a beautiful song... and you can feel the pain in it. No Mans Land is another favorite of mine... nice and heavy, and driving, and yet very melodic... pretty much exactly what I prefer in a song. Down Incognito, the main single is a great song as well. Heck, there is no song on this album that isnt either great or very very good... hence why I think it is a perfect album. In for the Kill is another that starts slow and then still has a powerful chorus. Like A Ritual is cool more for its instrumentation... and I love the tribal drums in it. Speaking of that, I have to shout out to Rod Morgenstien's drumming... it is spot on perfect throughout the album... it completely accents and adds to the songs without overpowering them like so many drummers do. Placing your drum skills into a song is better than showing off everything you can do in every song. His cymbal work is top notch. The production on this CD is also great... it sounds excellent. I cant say enough good about it. I wish they would reunite as I think Reb and Kip together create better than when they are apart. Without Reb, Kip loses some edge... and Reb just doesnt write as well on his own as he does with Kip.
