what just happened?.......2004-09-04

One hell of a wierd album. Has more of a rock and roll vibe than a metal vibe. Very original and i like the guitar. If you take it seriously though, like a critic, then you are going to be dissappointed. Listen with an open mind.

This self-titled debut album from the quartet has gotten them national acclaim in many magazines, including Revolver, Rolling Stone, and Guitar World. This is acclaim that is well deserved. The music scene now a days needs some help with originality and The Heavils are doing their best to change that. Many bands now are what I like to call "clone" bands. I think the music world only needs one Nickelback. With 14 mind blowing and ear shattering songs, this album will keep you up for nights wondering how they got the sound so exact to perfection. The last song "Kadigimonk" is a song that just slows it down. All the songs show how diverse and different The Heavils truly are! Do you feel that tiny rumble?
