      It is amazing considering its age. This album could be the standard by which modern metalcore acts are measured. When trying to decide what songs to put on my mp3 player (i dont have a cool ipod like you) i had to put them all. AND their back together and recording new stuff! AND re-releasing this.

      I was introduced to these guys by a friend and I was extremely suprised that I'd never heard of them before...mainly because this is one of the hardest and, quite possibly, the best written hardcore/thrash disc I've heard in a long time. It really focuses hard on the riff, which are well executed and perfectly placed. The vocals are rough enough to incite mayhem, but not so overwhelming as is the case in a lot of hardcore acts now-a-days. While they aren't around anymore, this band deserves some serious props for create something that will last a long time in the halls of chaos!

      Turmoil's best album in my opinion. A great sendoff for a great band. This album is: heavy. fast. loud. Yet Turmoil manages to create melodies and chorus' inside this onslaught of a recording. I got this album in 99' and didnt start listening to it again until 2001. I was quite sad to find out they had broken up, and that I never got the chance to see them live. The lyrics on this album are Great. Subjects include the norm, self-loathing, misanthropy, corruption of the music-scene. The songs are mostly short, but very well done. There are only a Few words on this album in which The singer is not screaming : ) Which is great, cause screaming Rules.

        I listen to all kinds of music and im not at all a scene person . so this cd is a bit weak , yes. they have potential but if they get any worse then start adding pop loop lyrics , they will become limp bizket . they need to get heavier . the rapper in this group doesnt sound so bad but he needs to write from the soul . not your typical rap song of how tough you are etc. ...these kinds of bands are not for people who only listen to rock cause most of them hate rap from the start but more for us variety people who dont own to a scene . i grew up on all kinds of music and had an open mind , so if youre looking for a rocker tastefull rap/rock cd i would say go with ''reveille'' . if you want a heavier hip hop sound ''primer 55'' .. a bit toned down you say :) ''faction of the fox'' or ''E-town concrete''

        Looks like a washed-up Papa Roach, sounds like a stale Limp Bizkit. NOTE: I found this cd as I was walking through a Jack-in-the-Box drive thru. I now know why. Some hesher must've dumped it between bong rips.

        i first heard of the band cuz my brother is friends with the lead singer. he used to be in the band but they kicked him out. TURMOIL still kicks arse. i really love this CD even though it is mad old.
