Fantastic PC69 collection..........2007-04-20

If you are new to Pink Cream 69, as I was after I purchased Electrified - BUY THIS!!! This is a great way to get three great albums at a very good price. Electrified hooked me and I was truly a fish on the line - I had to have more. Powerful melodic metal at its BEST. Generally I don't like to compare bands, but PC69 stacks up with any band from the 80's with most comparisons being to Dokken. PC69 has great songwriting, great playing and standout vocals. A great box set from a great band!

Great collection of PC69 albums.......2006-10-07

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Pink Cream 69 is the absolute best melodic hard rock band in the world right now. I know that's a bold statement, but I think the band's releases since the late 90's more than prove my point.

Case in point: the albums found in this nifty little box set. You get 2000's Sonic Dynamite, 2001's Endangered, and a cool live/covers EP called Mixery. Sonic Dynamite may just be the band's best album ever, and Endangered isn't that far behind it. This is first-class melodic hard rock music that borders on being metal. Hell, there are times when PC69 rocks harder than many metal bands. Think of classic melodic rock bands like Dokken or TNT with a heavy injection of pure adrenaline. That's what PC69 delivers. Dennis Ward is an amazing player/songwriter/producer, and vocalist David Readman has a set of pipes that will knock your socks off.

If you like powerful and melodic hard rock music and have yet to hear PC69, buy this box set. It's a great introduction to the band, and just a great collection of albums. Most hard rock fans should love these discs. Metal fans should too. AOR purists may need oxygen after hearing them, but they'll probably love them as well. They're just that good.

PC69 delivers again..........2007-04-20

The other reviews hit the nail on the head. Simply put, Sonic Dynamite is as good, if not better than Electrified. I feel it simply boils down to which album has your favorite songs. What is great is that the band doesn't try to reinvent themselves - Pink Cream 69 makes great melodic metal and that is exactly what you get.

Song Highlights incluge: Seas Of Madness, Followed By The Moon, The Spirit(possibly my favorite PC69 song), Waiting For The Dawn, Lost In Illusions and Shattered Prophecy.

Fans of PC69 already know that the band delivers - I'm yet to buy a weak album from them. People new to the band can start with Sonic Dynamite or Electrified and not be disappointed with either album.

I so totally agree with Justin Gaines! "Electrified" had my wife and I totally addicted then, along comes "Sonic Dynomite" and it's even more incredible! It is such a crime that bands that shovel out crap get airplay, and that these guys who create masterpieces are relatively unknown.
Every song is all killer, no filler. Track #4 blows away every Ozzy song ever written! If you don't own this cd, then it sucks to be you.

Amazing Melodic Hard Rock.......2006-08-05

Oh wow, just when I thought nothing could possibly top Pink Cream 69's 1999 album Electrified, here comes the band's 2000 release Sonic Dynamite to once again blow me away!

I wish I could adequately describe how flat-out awesome this album is. Pink Cream 69's brand of melodic hard rock bordering on heavy metal is just so much better than nearly every other melodic rock band. Dennis Ward is probably the best songwriter in the genre today, and his work here is untouchable. Each song blazes with incredible energy, due in no small part to vocalist David Readman's phenomenal performance. I'd rate him a close second to DC Cooper with regards to this kind of music (and you can see from my other reviews that I idolize DC Cooper), and his voice on this album is just explosive (which is appropriate, given the album's title).

Standout tracks on Sonic Dynamite are, well, all of them. Like Electrified, there isn't a weak moment on the entire disc.

I still feel like I'm selling this amazing album short, so I'm going to end this with a recommendation. If you like hard rock music, buy this album. Seriously. Hard rock fans should love this. Metal fans should too. AOR purists may need oxygen after hearing it, but they'll probably love it as well. It's just that good.
