A can't miss Cd.......2004-05-16

I first got turned on to Lee Aaron while working in broadcasting and watching Canadian Music Tv. This CD was purchesed for me as a gift and then stolen. I have been looking to replace it for some time as it is a great CD. One of Lee's best I think. My favorite track would have to be "Sweet Talk", which I also have on video from MuchMusic.

Lee's most polished, and definitely her catchiest disc.......2004-04-27

This is no "Metal Queen" or "Call of the Wild"...this is more in the vein of a Def Leppard "Hysteria" type album...more "commercial". Still, don't let "commercial" fool you. This is a consistent, GREAT and VERY FUN CD that came out in 1989 AND IT ROCKS!!!!

The most fun tracks? "Nasty Boyz", "Gotta Thing for You", "Shame" (the horns in it are great and give it a bit more of an "adult jazzy" touch, and it's still hard rockin'), "Whatcha Do to my Body" (a shame this wasn't a HUGE hit in the U.S. - this one would've made Lee a household name in the States and it should've been a big hit) and "Hands On".

The rest of the tracks are just as good. A nice heavy re-working of "Rock Candy" plays well. The aptly titled "Rebel Angel" *feels* rebellious...it's got a playful feel to it and Lee sounds like she's having a ball through not just this track, but with all the tunes, until Ms. Aaron closes with "How Deep", emoting passion with this ballad.

Not as heavy as her earlier discs, but damn, this CD is a real keeper and remains my favorite work from her.

I wish Ms. Aaron continuing luck with her current career singing jazz (as I'm sure she will...she's got a dynamite voice), and am glad she was able to leave a great hard rock legacy during her earlier part of her career, as unjustifiably underappreciated in the U.S. as it was.

This is album #5 from the canadian "metal queen", and is filled with catchier tracks than her previous efforts. The energy is still there, but with perhaps more polish and commercial appeal than before.

Some tracks seem to stand out more than others, possibly because there appears to be more passion in them. Good rock with strong vocals: the musicianship won't impress, but I think it's the most constant after "Metal Queen".

Lee Aaron rocks!.......2000-07-01

I have most of Lee Aaron's albums, and this one is definately my favorite! I love every track on this CD. Among my favorite tracks is "Rock The Hard Way"; she also does a wonderful cover of Montrose's "Rock Candy". Lee has a wonderful voice, powerful but feminine! I would absolutely recommend this CD for hard rock fans, and anyone wanting to discover Lee Aaron for the first time.

Was introduced to this album in Uni and became addicted. I was not into rock at the time and I am converted! The music is upbeat and definately gets you in the mood for going out on the town. A must if you are going to introduce someone to rock.

Really great!.......2001-01-14

Moby has released again one of the best of his CD singles, not to say the best. All remixes are perfect and realy lively and chill out like the old good Moby. There is also a b-side(all of my friends look for it), it is called "Sunday" and it is really great. The best thing you have to do is buy this maxi-single immediately. It is worth, believe me!

the entire cd is a great maxi single, a definite better alternative to the UK singles. my only problem with this single is that it replaces the track 'ARP' from the UK single with 'Sunday', originally from the 'Run On Extended' single, which is quite disappointing, considering 'ARP' is an epic track, especially the second half, which is basically a tweaked version of 'Every One Of My Problems' from the 'That's When I Reach For My Revolver' single.

Moby pumps out yet another thumpin' masterpiece of electronic groove ... and for those who don't already know, Bodyrock is the theme song to the hit NBC television show Veronica's Closet.

Olav Basoski is the star of this single..........1999-12-01

Yes, Moby is one of today's best techno/electronica artists, this is a known fact, but the real star of this single is Olav Basoski. A name I've only seen on one other single (the remixes for Phats & Small's "Turn Around"), Olav takes this techno breakbeat tune and turns it into a hard club kicker. "Da Hot Funk, Da Freak Funk" gets my vote as one of the best remixes of the year. I do enjoy the other mixes as well, but nothing on this disc will please clubkids more than Olav's mix.

If you like hard, rolling disco funk with a hands-in-the-air spirit, you must purchase this title. The Olav Basoski "Da Hot Funk Da Freak Funk" remix is one of Mr. Basoski's best remixes. Heck, it's even better than a lot of his original stuff. The old skool breakdown in the middle is inspired and adds a little oomph to the dancefloor assault. The other three mixes are passable, but drop the dough on this one, and you will not regret it.

ok ok ok heres the deal this a really cool cut. I know its playin on the radio but these remixes are great esp. the main remis on the a side I dont have it right in front of me as I at werk, but basically it s like this. There is a pretty good little french house happy house beat wigth some filtering loops and then there is a break down and the song turns into breaks with scrating, then it goes back into the house loops its definetly worth the 5 or 6 bucks for this domestic vinyl. the bside has 2 really good mixes as well. ok now I must go but, Ill seeya all out on the dance floor, djdude

If u like Fatboy Slim's "The Rockafellar Skank" You will probably like this! I give the song 5 stars, but not all the remixes and the extra 2 songs. "Bodyrock" is one of the best dance songs out there! Ya got ta get this!
