When Others Fail the Saergent Prevails!.......2003-07-12

Hell yeah this is THE M.O.D. album to own. It's out of print but well worth the search. The only M.O.D. CD that stands up to S.O.D. status is Dictated Aggression. This is thrash metal at it's finest. Every song rules and you can't beat slandering MTV(Empty Visions). Do yourself a favor and get this album.

It appears that while boy bands and rap-metal have prospered, good old fashioned hard core music has lost an audience. This album has apparently gone out of print, which is a shame, because it was M.O.D.'s best album. They are more intense than anything they have recorded before, and they finally benefit from a good production. Billy is again (obviously) the sole influence in M.O.D. He plays all bass guitar and some rhythm guitar. He also produced and engineered the album. This just proves the saying that if you want something done right you do it yourself. Billy is doing just that.

As far as the songs go, while they all rock the stand out tracks are Dictated Aggression, Damaged, One Was Johnny, and Just Got Fired. And just in case you are into the whole rap metal thing, Billy made his contribution to the whole scene with Brutal Beats, where he makes Fred Durst sound like the wuss that he is.

What I can't figure, is why is this out of print in the U.S.? Maybe M.O.D. started losing fans after the ridiculous Surfin' M.O.D. album. I am not sure what has happened, but I am sure that this album deserves a chance. Since it is out of print in the states, try to find it used, or buy the expensive import. It really is worth it. I've burned a copy of this c.d. for myself and don't touch the original anymore. It is worth too much to me. 'Nuff said.
